On this episode of Collider Jedi Council, Kristian, Ken, Perry and Mark answer Twitter questions from the viewers about the world of Star Wars including: Do you think we’ll ever get a movie that features a Sith Lord as the lead or a movie told from the point of view of a member of the Dark Side of the Force?; What do you think Grand Admiral Thrawn’s end will look like in ‘Star Wars: Rebels’?; Are Disney and Lucasfilm saving any Obi Wan-Kenobi movie announcement until just before ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ premieres? Could an animated or live action series between ‘Return of the Jedi’ and ‘The Force Awakens’ explore the relationship between Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade?

I don't think a year and a half break is necessarily a bad thing though I was quite liking having a SW film at Christmas. It really helped add excitement to the holiday season. With Rebels nearing completion too it does mean we won't have any SW to wet our visual appetites for a while but there are plenty of books and comics to delve into to satisfy my fix.

I don't think it needs a year and a half (though it probably won't hurt) but I wouldn't say it's too long, either.

Way too long! 2 Star Wars movies a year for the rest of my life please! And if we are to go into such a drought, there should really be a new TV show out this fall. Also, beyond the new Thrawn book, I don't know of any of any other new novels coming out. What the hell Lucasfilm, I'm jonesin' here!

I'm joking of course but not entirely. We've definitely become so spoiled. This "drought" is a drop in a bucket compared to the time between the OT and PT... or even PT to ST for that matter.

    I will learn patience.
