SPECULATION Could Hux turn on Kylo?

He totally bowed down to Snoke and when he had the chance to kill Kylo he chicken out. He let the fishy eyed toilet monster rule. He will only play the cards when it is safe, he will never bluff. He rules the FO and he should totally squish Kylo if he get the chance.

 

bowing to Snoke isn't cowardly, it's smart. he hasn't got a chance against someone who can kill him with his mind.
and not killing Ren isn't cowardice either. he's thinking ahead. he knows Ren is weak, possibly can be manipulated, and he's playing the long game.
he's not one bit afraid of Ren, even though Ren throws him around. Hux is tough as nails. : D

Hux, I got some advice if you want to become the best Supreme Leader ever:

Don't piss off your new Supreme Leader.

Don't be a smart-ass.

Don't make snidey comments.

Most important of all, hide the damn cat.



I know you've met Kylo twice now after he's gotten ass-kicked by Rey and he failed to protect Snoke. I know he's been very unfair on you, throwing you about like a rag-doll and what not. He just hasn't seen the best you can offer, has he now?

Despite all that, keep your snotty little mouth shut, or else Kylo will cut you down to size. Waist-size!





I, for one, do not want Hux to betray Kylo or Kylo to betray Hux—for no other reason than wanting a brand new TV show called "Pinky and the Ren".

 

The one thing about Hux turning in episode IX, if the movie is set anywhere in the future, the only problem that I would really see is why didn't he try to do it sooner as in right after the supreme leader's death or shortly after. Hux while he can be a bit flimsy, is very loyal to the First Order, his speech in TFA was quite convincing to me just before using Starkiller Base to destroy the Hosnian Prime system. I expect Hux to go down with the First Order.

 

I could see it... but I think it's more realistic and way cooler if it somehow focuses more on the Knights of Ren... unless... Hux pits them against Kylo. That'd be cool!

 

I would kind love to see Hux become an even bigger lackey under Kylo and he's constantly getting force-choked, knocked around and humiliated in front of his peers. Would be fitting considering Hux contemplated shooting him in his sleep.

 

COULD???!! He's been trying for two movies now.

 

Maybe Hux will come to realize that Kylo and his Knights are too radical and dangerous even for him. Then he would turn himself into the Rebellion and help them.

 

I'm counting on it. TLJ set Hux up for doing something REALLY stupid in the future. And I love it, he turned out to be much more complex than I expected. Instead of realizing that Kylo taking over the FO makes him second in command (so to speak) instead of third, he STILL sees Kylo as competition. He could have been Kylo's voice of reason, which in turn would have gained him more respect and brought him more power. But no, he just had to treat Kylo like an angry child, which is ironic because HE is an angry child himself. Because if he weren't, he would have played his position wisely. He started off so well after Snoke's death. Kylo could have replaced him immediately, but didn't. For some reason, he respected Hux. That could have been a new beginning for him. But it seems that he just can't grasp the simple fact that Kylo is and will always be stronger than him, and that no matter how many stupid choices he makes, he'll always have respect because he has real, tangible power. What does Hux have if he doesn't get Kylo's trust? Nothing. And it looks like he failed in that department. So I'm guessing he'll try to sell Kylo out to the Resistance. He can't gain support in the FO, no one would risk following the immature general when failing would mean getting sliced by a lightsaber/getting choked/getting thrown into walls etc. And unfortunately for Hux, Rey is in the Resistance, so his scheme would backfire royally. But it would make for a very entertaining plotline, so I'm aaaaall for it.

 

Interested, although that would be really out of character for Hux, don't you agree?

Talking about kids cartoons, if you thought Kylo Ren was emotionally unstable and violently psychotic, then wait till you've seen insane Ren from 'The Ren & Stimpy Show'...

He won't join the resistance. He will likely try to take over the FO and be killed. No way will Hux make it out of EpIX.

Ultimately, those bunnies kicked his butt.

 

you don't have to beat someone to be tough, don't even have to make it a fight.
tough is being knocked down/beat up over and over and still getting up again.

despite being shoved, choked, and tossed by both Snoke and Ren, he's still plotting to take control at the end.
wimp is the last thing Hux is.
