Eight More Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny Shorts Will Arrive In 2018.

Wasn't Forces of Destiny supposed to be a serie around the girls in SW?

 

Looking forward to these FOD shorts, Rebels, and the trailer... what a month its gonna be!

In fact the boys are just roaming around.
The serie is actually girls-centric.

it's not the right place to say that, but, after the TFA trailers with some images, and the RO trailer with a handful of images and dialogues that are not in the final product, I think it's safer to avoid "the trailer". It won't learn you anything, while it might lead you to false hopes. (my 2 cents and imho).

I have a real problem with this series. Its targeted specifically at a small minority audience of young females and supports the "new feminism" brainwashing bullsh*t that left-wing US tv networks and SJW feminazi's love.

As its targeted specifically just for females, it is 100% guilty of being sexist and being mysandrist (which is the polar opposite of misogynist).

I would also like to point out that American females, who this series is aimed at, are nothing like other females in other countries around the rest of the world. American women live in an inward looking insular United States 'bubble', they are overly aggressive, loud, arrogant, self-entitled and highly masculine when compared to other women in other countries. Perhaps the UK is immune to such feminism, as both our Monarch and Prime Minister are already female and we have long become accustomed to a matriarchy.

This series works in America, but it doesn't work in the majority of other free democratic countries. Disney seems to think all females around the world are just the same as American females and cut from the same American shaped cookie cutter, which we are not.

We in the rest of the world are very different to you in the US and we wish to remain as we are, different and not fall victim to your sexist mysandrist propoganda which is basically just a cynical money making scheme and tactic to push and sell feminist propoganda and merchandise for profit in the name of "new feminism".

The series is also guilty of altering established and pre-existing Star Wars canon for the sake of promoting "new feminism".

I shall not be watching this series again, as the first episodes already shown proved to be vulgar, preachy, overly aggressive, biased, patronising and sexist.

For me, the real problem with FoD is that it's a cheap cash-in which feels like it was dreamt up by the marketing department to justify a range of dolls. They're just toy adverts really.

 

Really? Okay then in that case the real problem is that my daughter shows no interest in FoD or in the dolls. For her to get interested they'd need some sort of SW horse for them to ride, but I'm sure they wouldn't just crow bar a space-horse into Star Wars to sell more toys. They have far too much artistic integrity for that.

Seriously though if they make it I will happily buy it for my daughter, her resistance to the marketing is so far proving considerable...

 

i'd be curious to know how sales on these dolls is going.
i think they're nice toys. they come with fun accessories and they're not glamorous Barbie-types.
i would have totally wanted them when i was a kid.
the Leia on Endor and the Leia with R2 are especially cool, i think.

i don't get chuffed about crass marketing these days.
it's crass. so what? we don't pay to watch the cartoons and no one is sitting there forcing our eyes like Clockwork Orange.
