    He certainly seems like someone who would have considered himself "beyond" the Sith, while still claiming to be one. The only incentive he would have to take on an apprentice would be to kill them for their power, which essentially is the plotline of TROS.

    It's ironic. Darth Plagueis also believed as much and that's why he allowed Sidious to train Maul....

    Shame that Cosinga's son was too short sighted to see the wisdom in living another 1,000 years, but Sith happens.
