Transformers age of extinction. 9 pm start time, left at 11 pm. Film was not finished. Didn’t even loom like it was going to finish any time soon. I left the theater and drove home.

I fell asleep to that one at home for the same reason. I felt like I had been watching it for three hours.

same here although for me it was the Comic & original toys. Although the last one ( Not BumbleBee which is actually pretty good ) is almost worth it for Anthony Hopkins performance :D.

Nope. I stick through until the bitter end. Even the movies I absolutely hate and crush my soul like The Last Airbender, I stick through until that bitter, soul-crushing end...

I walked out of Fight Club after the reveal.

Not because I disliked the film. I had to play a gig and I couldn't stay to finish the film. I didn't see how it ended for six months.

I've never walked out of a film because I disliked it. House of 1000 Corpses is probably the closest I've been to walking out, but I powered through.

I have a pretty keen sense of what I will or will not enjoy. Which means if I go to see a movie, I've already decided I'm going to watch to the end. Having said that, I've only felt the urge to leave a movie theater once. I didn't, mostly because I'm too nice and I didn't want to bother anybody by leaving at a point in the movie that was supposed to be "emotional". Suffice it to say that the emotions I was feeling right then were not what the film intended. It was supposed to be tragic, sad and shocking, but all I felt was malevolent wrath and nearly uncontrollable fury. If I'd been sitting in an aisle seat, I'd have been gone.

Just thinking about it makes me angry all over again. I'll not discuss which film it was, for the sake of my sanity. Need to stop thinking about it before I punch something...

I probably would have walked out of House of 1000 Corpses if I weren't with friends. I thought that was terrible.

What kind of gig did you have to go to? Are you a musician?

In a previous life I played guitar and sang a lot. I was in New York and we had to take a train to Long Island to play in front of some friends. Ah, memories.
