It is meant to justify why the girl did what she did in the end.

Watched TAG last night. Great fun silly movie, had a sense of joy and managed to mostly avoid the usual american sappiness at the end. Even gets it's message across without being preachy.

Also it would be great if it was included in the Marvel movie universe so Jeremy Renner's character could secretly be Hawkeye in his retirement. .

Coherence (2013). This is a good, smart, mind bending and eerie movie, that I loved. Sure, it's cheap, but don't let that discourage you from watching. It's like a little gem, half-buried in a dirt road.

    Tag was pretty fun.
Most enjoyable I've ever found Ed Helms.

Fortress (2017) - a great period movie from South Korea. Excellent cinematograpy, sets and costumes, interesting characters with different viewpoints and great performances, intense battle scenes and a lot of valuable lessons to learn. Still, it's not a movie that you can just pop in and watch with a can of beer before going to sleep. At times the movie is slow and is meant for the viewer to calmly observe and let it sink in.

P.S. One of the awesome things about South Korea is how they manage to keep making great period movies and dramas out of their otherwise mostly unremarkable history. This is an example most countries can and should learn from.

I'd never read any Agatha Christie books (although I've meant to) until just recently. I read And Then There Were None, Poirot Investigates, The Mysterious Affair At Styles and Murder On The Orient Express. They were really good so I decided to watch a few live action things, the 2015 mini-series of And Then There Were None, a few episodes of Poirot and just last night this 1974 adaptation. Although I think I may have seen it, or at least pieces of it, but if I did it was a long time ago. It was really good but I found Finney's version of Poirot pretty cartoonish compared to that of Suchet's excellent (but still humorous) version from the TV series. The silliness made for some very funny moments though and overall it was a great performance. I'll probably check out the 2017 version sometime just to compare though I've heard it's not nearly as good.

Predators (2010). It's a good movie, I don't know why so many fans dislike it.

I've only seen it once but I do own it as part of my Predator collection since it came with the other two. I found it entertaining and it had a somewhat cool premise. It's not the original obviously but few things are. If it were the only Predator sequel I could understand some of the hate it gets but in a world where Predator 2 (which I've warmed to some over the years but it still kind of blows) and Alien vs Predator movies exist it boggles my mind that Predators would be singled out as if it single-handedly took a dump on the original's legacy.

Exactly. I love Predator 2 but I know it's a cheese fest, and Predators is objectively better. It has many flaws (like being too similar to the original while at the same time lacking its charm), but it really did have an interesting premise, and it could have spawned an even more interesting sequel. I'm pretty sure that's where the franchise was heading, but the bad reception pretty much ruined that plan. On the other hand, a new movie is coming out soon, and it has possibly the worst trailer I've ever seen. By the looks of it, the movie will be an absolute disaster. Let's see what fans will think about Predators after they see that one, I have a feeling they'll change their attitude lol

Great to see someone get as perturbed at the inaccuracies in the Jurassic franchise as much as I.....heck the whole thing is misnamed as most of the dinosaurs in the series are not of the Jurassic period.....but “Cretaceous Park” isn’t as cool sounding I guess

The Equalizer 2. I can't really remember the first one, but I remember that I was bored during the viewing. The second movie was more entertaining and I enjoyed watching it. It's a solid made Action-Thriller.

Fun fact: this is the first time that a Denzel Washington movie got a sequel featuring Washington himself.

You guys inspired me to rewatch Predator 2 as well. Is it bad? Yeah, pretty much. Do I care? Nope, still love it. Plus, it added lots of cool stuff, that featured in AvP games later. Still, Predators is better film objectively, why is there even a debate?

Btw, the horrible Predator 2018 (1st) trailer has 23,000 likes and 3,700 dislikes. SW Resistance trailer has 11,000 likes and 85,000 dislikes. Star Wars "fans" are the best .

Picked up Deadpool 2 the other weekend and it was just as funny as the first time I saw it in theaters.

Predator 2 didn't have nostalgia to contend with (and these days has nostalgia on its side), it came out a few years later and was just another one of those inferior sequels where Predators was the first stand-alone Predator film in 20 years. Nostalgia, hype and unrealistic expectations caused quite a bit of backlash from the fanboys who went in thinking it was going to match the original.

    Summer of 84.

Imagine Stranger Things but done a bit more clumsily.
it's a solid little nostalgia flick that gets too distracted by reminding you it's 1984 rather than just being 1984.

I Am Here...Now (2009). It's...How can I put it...It's an experience lol I used to think that The Room was a 10/10 on the great bad movies scale, but it turns out I was wrong. I Am Here...Now pushed it down to a tame, boring 7. I honestly have no way to describe that glorious disaster, but it's one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen. Time well spent, 15/10 I would 100% recommend lol

Predator 2 is one of the greatest cheesy movies ever made and no one can tell me otherwise. F****** voodoo magic, man.
