Captain Marvel last Friday and probably again this Saturday (will write up a review after that), Thor Ragnarok on Wednesday, and Captain America: Civil War yesterday.

I'm more or less working my way through the Phase 3 movies that one of my friends hasn't seen with him so that we're ready for Endgame. Next on that list is Black Panther and Ant-Man & the Wasp, and then we'll end with Ragnarok and Infinity War.

Still need to watch Creed 2 though...

The Highwaymen with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson - Based on the story of two Texas Rangers who pursued Bonnie and Clyde. Not sure how close to the true story it is, so I can't compare. But I thought it was a good and typical cat and mouse pursuit of two people who not only caused havoc but murdered authorities along the way.

I don't know if this was on purpose but they made Bonnie and Clyde almost these little innocent looking people. Which they did look like these ordinary citizens only they weren't. They were holy terrors. But people saw them as legends especially Clyde's home town. And they met a terrible end with a hail of bullets. I mean they didn't play. They say it was a total of almost 200 bullets that caught them by surprise. Many people came to their funerals as well.

Yea, I think so. I don't know that I'll ever watch it again, but it was a decent film.

The more I think on it, the more I actually dislike this movie.

The Dirt - Better than Bohemian Rhapsody. It's not good and it. The movie knows it's trashy and loves itself for it. 6/10 kind of movie, good on a rainy day time killer flick. Some good chuckles out of the hilarity. Unlike 95% of other biopics (especially ones on musicians) this one mostly doesn't shy away from how terrible these people were to *most* women they met or just how shitty they were in general. So bonus points for not beating around the bush.

I actually just wrapped this up a bit ago. Enjoyed it. It's probably closer to truth than most Bonnie and Clyde stories where they are portrayed as heroes and not cold blooded killers.

I've watched some terrible movies lately. Mostly on Netflix. I guess it makes me appreciate the good one's.

As above, so below - A very bad horror movie that never gets going until about 20 or 30 minutes near the end. I don't even like horror much anyway. I was mainly bored. This movie is about some explorers who venture under the streets of Paris into the catacombs. And eventually some bad, weird and death happens when they run into the dead. It took way too long that when something did happen. I didn't really care. Or even care about their deaths. I actually started rooting for the dead.

The Dukes of Hazzard - Not the movie that was in theaters but one that came out in 2007. Made for TV I guess. It also has Willie Nelson. The acting was so bad and the guys who played Bo and Luke I don't think even took acting lessons.

When We First Met - Starring Adam Devine: A guy likes a girl and believes she's the one but he just ends up in the friend zone while she marries someone else. Well somehow he figured out time travel using one of those pic booths. He didn't know that's what gave him that ability that he kept waking up trying to make the relationship work. Then he figures out it wasn't her he was suppose to be with but someone else. Yes. He gets the girl. But it was so bland. It had some funny moments, but it really wasn't that good of a movie.

Locked up - Just bad. Trust me. lol

Netflix:Triple Frontier starring Oscar Isaac, Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam. - About a team of special forces who steal a drug lord's money. It starts out really good and just falls apart. Oscar Isaac's character has a g/f who can help distract so the five guys can steal money. It starts out just wanting to take the drug lord out to help make peace, but instead they become greedy and steal $250mil. So much they eventually have to abandon it.

Their helicopter crash lands in a cocaine field and must walk over the Andes Mountains making it to the ocean where a man with a boat is waiting for them. Like I said it started out good but just goes to hell in so many ways. Some things make no sense at all. It's also slow. And they walk for days over the Andes with all that bags of money, no food, no water. Right...I can only suspend my belief so much.

Finally got to watching Ready Player One... and I'm disappointed to say, it did absolutely nothing for me. Even the easter egg spotting became tedious. I was thinking I'd love it as many friends had, now want a refund and 2hr20 of my life back Mr Spielberg!! :(

Saw this on a date(?*) last night. I really enjoyed it!

*I add the question mark because I generally have problems spotting what does and doesn't constitute as a date when the word "date" isn't explicitly used. But overall it's irrelevant.

Oh I remember the awkward courting days. Some good signs to check for a date or not a date. 1. If you picked her or him up in your car. 2. You paid for the tickets and food. 3. It was just you two and not a group thing. If at least two of the things happened above then it was probably a date and you should be calling the individual to set up a future outing. Good luck!

The Mule with Clint Eastwood - I think old Clint is gonna live forever. Some people believe this was his final role. If so that sucks. Always liked him. But this movie at times was intense and had lots of emotions with some comedic stuff thrown in to balance out the drama. He plays Earl Stone who is living a peaceful life but gets involved with the drug cartel because he believes he needs to and becomes their best drug runner. It isn't real action packed but I thought it was good. It also stars Bardley Cooper and Michael Pena

Instant Family - Mark wahlberg and Rose byrne about a couple who gets inspired to adopt kids because that's what is missing in their lives. They foster three latino kids who has some problems because their mother wasn't around much and always on drugs. The older sibling wants her mom back and is angry. Although I thought the movie was good and has heart it kind of suffers from the balance between comedy and drama. But in saying that it has a funny things that happens through out with the middle sibling is always getting hurt in weird ways. In all it's a good decent movie and end up adopting them.

I'm not really into the comic book movies but I've always wanted to see the first two Hellboy movies and never got around to it. When this came out my girlfriend wanted to go see it, even after it got terrible reviews and had bombed at the box office she still wanted to go. I don't know why as she's never seen the original Hellboy movies either. Anyway it was just as bad as advertised. I have no clue what this movie was supposed to be about, it was a big confusing mess of King Arthur myth mixed with Hitler and H.P. Lovecraft with a witch thrown in for good measure. I would go into more detail but it would sound like the ramblings of an insane person.

Creed 2 - I really liked the first one but this one was at first too slow then moves to fast. Editing to me was weird in places. Just a repeat of Rocky with a predictable outcome of Creed vs Drago. Only in the Rocky vs Drago it was going with the times. This one just felt lacking to me.

Fighting with the family - About WWE Paige's real life story of her wretsling family, her and her brother's try out for WWE and Paige gets signed which causes riff between Paige and her brother Zack. A surprisingly good movie.

Shazam - I loved this movie. Was not only fun but had so much heart to it. Really good I thought.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile - a snooze fest that missed the mark. Good performances throughout but it seems incredibly interested on not being interesting.

I agree. I tried watching it last night and made it about half way though. It was pretty boring. On a side note;James Hetfield from Metallica plays a Cop.
