Let's not even get started on the Forerunners...

    Forerunner ships.jpg

The big long one you see is the Forerunner Fortress Ship

They can range from the gigantic size of 164,041 feet to a colossal size of 328,083 feet.

And not to mention the big Halo Rings that the Forerunners built to utterly annihilate the flood.

    halo ring.jpg

    Halo ring 2.jpg

Most halo rings were 32,808,399 feet, or 6,200+ miles

The Forerunners have a knack for building giant things.

I love Man of Steel, I watched it so many times. I know allot of people that loved Suicide Squad too, i think Warner bros has learned their lesson, stop rushing to catch up with Disney Marvel release one film at a time then Unleashed Justice league 2 when ready. by rushing the films, Justice League bombed at the box office. Marvel is reaping the benefits of one film at a time for the climatic epic Infinity War!!!! OH MAN CAN"T WAIT

@Rogues1138 I am going out on a limb here but I really think that the anticipation for Infinity War equals the buildup for TFA.....thoughts? There are a LOT of Marvel fans who have been waiting 10 years for this movie

Today, i will go to a press-event to see the first 10 minutes of a new musical about the second World War.

It's going to be very interesting. The production company made a musical about the first World War in 2014 and it became one of the most popular musicals here in Flanders with over 300.000 sold tickets (wich is massive for a musical here in Belgium).

I know it might be the wrong franchise, BUT…

Just the other week I went to some exhibition, held at the Babelsberg Film Studio in the beautiful town of Potsdam (some of you might know flics like Atomic Blonde, Captain America: Civil War, The Bourne Supremacy or The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, among lots of others, which were all shot there to some degree).

So I took the train from platform 9¾…

Of course, Olivander’s had lots of interesting offerings at the shopping mile at the end. So one or two wands found a new home. And a Chocolate Frog too, of course. And a Death Eater tattoo. And …

So the other day we had to walk of some excess energy, having Italian lunch, German ice cream & coffee and Greek food for dinner (see https://thecantina.starwarsnewsnet....lk-recipes-and-more.10148/page-36#post-532233).

We choose the Natural History Museum of Berlin to expand our horizon, especially on Dinosaurs. Already amazing, we were greeting by Allosaurus fragilis - right next to the check-in.

    dns_01.png

The next big thing was really something to behold A Brachiosaurus relative on display, the Giraffatitan brancai, with 13.27m (43.5“) height, it is the world largest mounted dinosaur skeleton, with a Diplodocus carnegiei mounted next to it

    dns_02.png

    dns_03.png

    dns_04.png

Next to it stood a specimen of Dicraeosaurus hansemanni, with a Kentrosaurus aethiopicus running in the background.

    dns_05.png

That exact Archaeopteryx lithographica can be found in every schoolbook about evolution around here, discovered 1875 in Bavaria:

    dns_06.png

Switching rooms, we met Tristan Otto: One of the best-preserved Tyrannosaurusr rex skeletons worldwide. Of approximately 300 bones, 170 have been preserved, which puts it in the third position among others.

I visited the Berlin Nat.Hist. with my gf and a buddy a few years back and, as with everything in the splendid city of Berlin, we had a blast. Actually, I had a hard time getting my gf to leave the museum, (she's the world's biggest dino-nut), and if she could she would've moved right in among the critters and displays, heh heh.

Guys, should you ever come to Helsinki, Finnland – take a short trip to the Design Museum there.

    It’s full of surprises! See….

OK, who’s familiar with this piece of jewelry found there on exhibition?
