Disney's D23 Expo in August is where we will get our next looks at the first Star Wars live action series The Mandalorian as well as The Rise of Skywalker! Now D23 has announced that for the first time ever, Lucasfilm will host a pavilion at the expo, showcasing the history and evolution of Stormtroopers throughout the franchise's history.

Just announced via the official D23 site:

From Imperial Stormtroopers to the new Sith troopers, this should make for an awesome exhibit for fans to get up close to the trooper variants that have spanned the franchise for over 40 years. Don't wear armor, because there's a good chance they won't hit you. All jokes aside, fans attending D23 will be able to get some excellent photos of each trooper variant.

In addition to this, the D23 article reminds fans that a sneak peek of The Mandalorian will be shown on Friday August 23 at 3:30PM in Hall D23, which was initially announced back on June 6th.

What does that exactly mean? A "pavelon"?

it means they will have a dedicated floor space that people can walk around in and see things, which is something they maybe haven't done at D23 before.
they did it at SDCC last year; this one sounds maybe even more ambitious.
