    I know that we have a thread about parallels and scenes that rhymes like poetry in TROS section. But we don't have one (at least I didn't find it) about parallels over all of the movies. So I'm creating one.
    Please post here all images that you think "it rhymes like poetry".

    In the third movies of the first two trilogies, some main characters become generals off screen. In ROTJ, Han and Lando get promoted to general, and in ROTS, Obi Wan becomes a general. Also, new general characters are introduced, such as General Madine and General Grievous. This seems to reflect a change in the conflict, from aristocrats and nobles to military leaders. COUNT Dooku dies to be replaced with GENERAL Grievous. While Leia becomes a general only in TFA, her title is still waning from a princess following her active role in the Imperial Conflict. Other sudden generals include Jar Jar, Bombad General and all the generals that vader makes after he kills all his old ones. The only movie that stops this trend is TLJ, when Poe is demoted, indicating the revolutionary nature of the film, and its difference from the other movies of the saga.

    I would leave Luke out of it and then it would be much more poetic. With Luke it's just visually, but without him it's poetry in context of visuals, chronology and story.

    I really like the parallel between these goodbye scenes in Episode 1 and Episode 9.

    In Episode 1, we have Anakin leaving his mom at the start of his journey. In Episode 9, we have Rey leaving her mother figure towards the end of her journey (in the films that is.) Similar versions of the Force theme play in both scenes.

    Wookieepedia says that a mouse droid was in TLJ, but it’s interesting that it doesn’t show up in those other three movies. Also interesting that they aren’t referred to as “mouse droids” on-screen until The Clone Wars.
