    1. Agree. Also it was the only part of L3 that i liked when she freed the droids in the control room

    2. When they all went "Ahhhhhhh" when they saw the giant eye.

    3. Rio's long slow death from the blaster.

    4. When he takes control of the MF

    5. When he tells Han "I hate you."

    6. Beckett wild west style twirling his blasters & blasting on Kessel.

    7. When Chewbacca sits along Han 4 the first time in the MF.

    8. AE dosen't look like Han at all.

    9. Dreyden's office. It was a giant Easter Egg.

    10. Finally seeing Corellia. It looks like where i work.

I think I got the scenes mixed up as their first time piloting the Falcon together was the scene I was talking about, but I love his comment to Chewie at the end, "When I have ever steered you wrong?"

Ok @DarthSnow I'll dive in here:

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment: The Falcon coming nose to nose with a Star Destroyer...so many more of those to come! :)
    2. Funniest Scene: When Han demolishes the Falcon and Lando says "Ihate you" while Han follows with "I know" PERFECT!!
    3. Most Emotional: When Qi'ra hands the dice back to Han after all of those years.
    4. Best Han Scene: When he pulls the plan out of his @ss to keep from getting killed by Vos...he had no plan!!! :) Cocky Han...BSing his way out...AGAIN! OR when he killed Beckett...Han DEFINITELY shot FIRST! :)
    5. Coolest Lando Moment: "Everything you've heard about me is true!" Typical cocksure Lando..loved it.
    6. Favorite new character scene: Although not "new actor", I REALLY LOVED seeing Warwick Davis...welcome back again Warwick!!
    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction: Chewie gets in the co-pilot seat of the Falcon next to Han and they look at each other...their journey together begins right there.
    8. Biggest nitpick: The Kessel run...I just expected something different after 40 years...more meat and potatoes....OR having to cut through the gate to get to the Falcon. If it was Lando's, why have to break in, or did I miss something?
    9. Favorite reference / easter egg -: The big "crime syndicate" on Tatooine...obviously THE HUTTS!!
    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want!: Moreso "a couple" of scenes...the ending: Qi'ra goes to meet Maul..."wow" but at the same time, "WTF???", because there's more to be told there. Then Han being told by Beckett about the crime syndicate on Tatooine. I know that I already referenced that, but I think it'd lead to more great Solo stories.
    So...Solo 2!!

Yeah, the Falcon was impounded for whatever reason (and the SW version of being booted, that's where Beckett took another 5% off Lando's cut for getting her free).

Really funny when you think about it too -- in the card game preceding this, Han was betting with a ship he didn't even have, and Lando was betting with a ship he couldn't even access. Scoundrels.... :D

Yep...those two are the best!! Again, my mind has been changed and I loved it...all of it! :)

BECAUSE my mind was changed is what made me love it even more...I grinned through the entire thing. :)

I think Lando telling all he keeps the MF under lock & key yet L3 having to cut the fence followed by him looking "surprised" by the impound "boot" was all a Lando lie.

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment - The Kessel Run.
    2. Funniest Scene - It's probably the funniest Star Wars movie, so there's too many to choose from... Maybe Han's bluff against Enfys.
    3. Most Emotional - Han and Qi'ra separated at the spaceport gate.
    4. Best Han Scene - Well... This film is called Solo and Alden is doing an amazing work, so it's really hard to pick! It's all gold. But I want to give recognition to his last scene with Enfys - he's being pure Han there.
    5. Coolest Lando Moment - Probably the first Sabacc game.
    6. Favorite new character scene - Enfys Nest interrupting the heist.
    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction - Again, too many... I love how they met, but there's also a lot of brilliant small moments. Like Chewie taking the co-pilot seat for the first time. Or little stuff like "You're touchy!"
    8. Biggest nitpick - Not really a "nitpick" but rather a big problem - I hate the cinematography. And I'm not a fan of L3.
    9. Favorite reference / easter egg - Aurra Sing and Bossk.
    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want! - Every time I rewatch it, it strikes me how great the train heist sequence is. Extremely well executed.

    Favorite Reference/Easter Egg:

I watched it again, and I never had a clear answer from my initial post. When Beckett is dressed like ROTJ Cantina Lando!

Dealer's Choice - Talk about any scene you want!:

While John Williams is king, the Solo score has grown on me. My favorite part of the score is during the Train Sequence when Enfy's Nest crew fly in.

I watched The Empire Strikes Back for the first time since I saw Solo. And I have to say Solo made Empire Strikes Back much better. The scenes with Lando and Han are so much better now with added back story involved. Also the scene where C-3PO says the communication system in the Falcon is a very rare dialect, is now cool as well.

I love it when they think they've captured Enfys Nest, but it's someone else when they unmask her, but then the real Enfys Nest jumps down from above and hits the ground with her weapon that sends people flying.

    Love reading all the responses.

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment -- When Han and Chewie first assume control of the Falcon.
    2. Funniest Scene -- Beckett hurting his thumbs.
    3. Most Emotional -- Again, when Han and Chewie assume control of the Falcon.
    4. Best Han Scene -- Han shooting Beckett.
    5. Coolest Lando Moment -- The Lando Chronicles.
    6. Favorite new character scene -- Enfys reveal on the beach.
    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction -- All of it was great.
    8. Biggest nitpick -- Solo's name origin bit.
    9. Favorite reference / easter egg --
    Not sure...
    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want! -- Gotta love Chewie pulling the guy's arms off. Not wise to upset a wookie.

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment - The Star Destroyer blockade in the channel, complete with the ANH music cue
    2. Funniest Scene - The second Sabacc game on Numidian Prime - both when Chewie groans after looking at Han's hand, and again when Han asks Lando "You have everything you need there, buddy?" as Lando looks for the card up his sleeve.
    3. Most Emotional - When Enfys Nest tells the story of how Crimson Dawn killed her mother and cut out the tongues of the people on Savareen
    4. Best Han Scene - The final showdown with Tobias Beckett on Savareen. Han wasn't a cold blooded killer, but he was smart and fast enough to know how things were going to go down
    5. Coolest Lando Moment - The Sabacc game at the Lodge
    6. Favorite new character scene - L3-37 and Qi'ra's conversation in the cockpit of the Falcon
    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction - Chewie giving Han the business about Qi'ra at the cocktail party on Dryden Vos's yacht
    8. Biggest nitpick - Just how much the Falcon got damaged during the Kessel Run. At the beginning of the movie it was pristine. I would have preferred to see the ship look somewhere between the way we first saw it in SOLO and the condition it would be in when we see it in ANH
    9. Favorite reference / easter egg - A TIE BETWEEN- "Colo claw fish? Anyone?" and the Imperial March (played in a major key) being played at the Imperial recruiting station in Coronet spaceport, Corellia.
    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want! - Seeing Chewbacca get really physical and wiping the floor with the guards in the Kessel mines - ripping off arms and slamming the one guard onto his head.

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment - A Star Destroyer showing up.
    2. Funniest Scene - "We'll have you flying in no time." Cut to Han flying through the air from an explosion.
    3. Most Emotional - Lando trying to save L3.
    4. Best Han Scene - Lando "I hate you." Han responds "I know." Reminiscent of his response to Leia saying "I love you."
    5. Coolest Lando Moment - "Everything you've heard about me, is true."
    6. Favorite new character scene - Enfys Nest jumping down, hitting the ground with her weapon, and sending enemies flying.
    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction - "You're gonna need a nickname because I ain't saying that every time."
    8. Biggest nitpick - The Falcon got more damage than I would have liked. There's time for more wear later.
    9. Favorite reference / easter egg - The Fertility Idol from Indiana Jones

    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want! - I love that Enfys Nest is a mantle that has been passed down and the character could show up again.

    @Rodney-2187 , @ThisIsNoCave

For what it's worth, the reason they damaged it so fast rather than over several films was the way they did it. It's not CGI. Obviously the flying ship is, but the full size Falcon from TLJ was available and still intact (honestly...that's usually not the case), so they built their Falcon right over the top of the Falcon set from TLJ, and then they took pieces off as they went so that the final form is the old Han Falcon literally.

Since they only had the one shot at doing this, and couldn't keep the set (had to get back), they had to do everything now, or make any follow-up film a pain in the a** to pick up in damage where they left off.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

Little late to the party, but I’ll give this a try!

    1. Best "Star Wars" Moment

Chewie sitting in the co-pilot seat of the Millennium Falcon for the first time while they make the Kessel Run.

    2. Funniest Scene

“We just lost a cannon... and I really hurt my thumbs...” - Tobias Beckett

    3. Most Emotional Scene

Qi’ra taking Dryden’s yacht and leaving Han behind on the beach. You can tell that she doesn’t truly want to leave him but she has no choice.

    4. Best Han Scene

Saving Chewie and shooting Beckett (first).

    5. Coolest Lando Moment

    Cheating at the Sabaac game.

    6. Favorite new character scene

Qi’ra and L3’s “girl talk” on the Falcon.

    7. Favorite Han & Chewie Interaction

The shower and conversation they have on the AT Hauler.

    8. Biggest nitpick

Han giving all the reward to Enfys Nest and not trying to double cross her too. Also, the fact that all of what we knew about Han’s backstory was crammed into one (definitely enjoyable) movie.

    9. Favorite reference / easter egg -

Reference: Lando talking about how Beckett killed Aurra Sing.
Easter Egg: The Sith Holocron and Mandalorian armor in Dryden’s office; the in-universe Imperial March from Rebels showing up at the recruitment office.

    10. Dealer's choice - talk about any scene you want -

Qi’ra secretly giving the dice back to Han on Kessel. Sort of parallels TLJ in that the love of Han’s youth returns the dice to a Solo (Han himself) in this movie and the love of Han’s life leaves the (projected) dice behind for a Solo (Ben/Kylo) to find them in TLJ. I hope we see the dice in the Falcon again in TROS.
