    Five months from today is the The Rise of Skywalker’s release date! I’m already planning out how I’m gonna prepare for it this fall and winter. I’m going to binge watch through all three animated series, read a bunch of the ST related books and comics, and in the 24 hours leading up to when I see the movie, I’m gonna watch Episodes 1-8 all in one sitting. Not to mention, watching The Mandalorian and playing Jedi: Fallen Order when those come out. I’m just ready for Triple Force Friday to come and kick off “Star Wars season” as I like to call it. :p

    I have had a blast with the Sequel Trilogy so far and my hopes and anticipation for the conclusion are high, very high. I hope to have as awesome of a fan experience as when I saw TLJ on opening night back in 2017. There were a bunch of people there, many of which were dressed up, everybody was just so happy, and I even got some free Star Wars merch to take home! Watching the film itself was a blast because the theater laughed and clapped and cheered at various parts of the movie, which may be annoying to some people but to me, it made the experience more memorable. (Kylo cutting Snoke in half got the biggest cheer I think.) I hope my first viewing of TROS will be a similar case!

    As for the film itself, I just can’t wait to see how the story of Rey, Kylo, Poe, Finn, and BB-8 wraps up, not to mention how the legends of Luke, Han, and Leia will live on. I can’t wait to see the last opening crawl of the Skywalker Saga on the big screen and I’m excited to hear what soundtrack John Williams has cooked up for this movie. Not to mention, I’m pumped for the lightsaber duel(s) and the action in general. I’m also intrigued to see what role old Sheev Palpatine and Lando Calrissian have to play. I just don’t know if I can handle waiting for much longer!

    I think the most interesting thing Daisy says here is that she’s crying in the shot before she wrapped and that the scene was very dramatic...
    Will we see someone we all love dying? Will it be a goodbye scene? Can’t wait. SO EXCITED :)

    Reshoots always were planned, but these short reshoots so late make me think maybe the reason was JJ wanted some scenes/dialogue to be recorded at the last possible moment to avoid leaks.
