Then I guess it's good for me that I am not a weatherman because my prediction is spot on.
No it's not a cop-out. When discussing both Marvel and Star Wars, Iger limited his remarks to motion pictures. We he talked about "the slow down" he was talking about motion pictures. I mean, if we take your logic to its extreme, I guess there won't be any Star Wars books or comics anymore because he didn't mention those.

The interview was discussing movie releases. Failing to mention any specific TV show (or upcoming project) is irrelevant.

When I am proven right, something tells me you'll just complain about how "lucky" I was. The writing is splattered all over the wall for all to see. Some just choose to ignore.

This is an interesting point because for those who still believe the RJ trilogy is going on, it raises the question of when will it actually come out?

Let's take what we know and draw some logical conclusions: Iger said there was going to be a "slowdown" for Star Wars movie releases. Well, considering we are currently finishing a string of 1 per year for 5 years, a "slowdown" seems to me that they are going to shift to 1 release every 2 years. Or - at the very least - the next trilogy will be one per year, but it won't start until after a 2 or 3 year break following Episode 9, and then there would be another break after that trilogy.

So really... what is the earliest possible release date for RJ? 2026? Lot of things can happen between now and then.

I’d like RJ to leave SW alone. Go make your own movies and story.

I have an even better and more realistic idea, as someone who's accepted that RJ's trilogy will come out (despite how much we don't want it to): ignore it when it comes out, and indulge in stories where Luke, Han and Leia are together, grow older, and endure life's hardships in a way that's worthy of their characters and the universe they belong to.

I'd love for entitled, whining fanboys to go away, but that's never going to happen.

Am I one of the two posters? I just want to point out that I'm not assuming anything, I'm just stating possible reasoning as to Iger's omission.

I'm not making commentary on how things officially stand today, I'm just pointing out that Iger's omission could be seen as a red flag. @Wolfpack is making a prediction, so the current official state of the RJ trilogy has no bearing on the future of that trilogy. You are of course free to put whatever value you choose on that prediction.

People predict things all the time, like such and such sports team will win said championship, or miss the playoffs. If there's an injury to their best player, it's more likely that the prediction of them missing the playoffs will be true. Then again, there's no guarantee.

Can we have a civilized conversation without calling each other whiny, not a real fan , too stupid to get it or anything along these lines despite disagreeing on some topics?

You are browsing and willingly participating in a thread entitled: "THREAD FOR THOSE WHO HATED THE MOVIE"

What exactly did you expect to find in this thread? Maybe you should put the thread on ignore so the rest of us can discuss TLJ's shortcomings in peace.

What is obvious and real is that SOME customers are worth the trouble and others just aren’t... I doubt very much the head of Disney is going to let his employees be bullied by some “costumers”. They are not that desperate.

Some “customers” should just quit their delusions of grandeur... :)

After 245 pages, we all told what we had to say.

Maybe, you're just late to the party but I was there in time.

That remains to be seen as of now.

You're just a bag full of assumptions. You have a 50% chance of being right, there is no luck to it. I have no problem admitting mistakes if i'm proven wrong. But as of now, I don't see it.

Is this supposed to be a punchline or something like that ?

I never thought you were interested in debating. You do seem to favour punchlines though. I can do both. Versatile.

It's called reading the writing on the wall.
What makes you say I have a 50% chance of being right? Because there are 2 options, and it's like I flipped a coin?

If I predicted there would be no Episode 9, would you also call that a 50% chance of being right?

    Now we are talking.

What was the moment during your first viewing of the film in which you decided: “this is not good.” I mean, what was the worst thing for you? Honestly.

Also, be honest here too. What did you like most about the film?

Honestly, The mother joke was flat out terrible and it took some times I got in the movie and when finally I was almost in, we had this Leia thing, I was really confused, I was searching for someone's eyes to try to understand ... Then we had this guy on the island, the weirdo who milked an alien and nothing was going forward in this story, it was like skating in vain ... Rey "swimming" ?? The dark cave scene where Luke yelled Rey Nooooooo, don't goooooooo ! And this tiptap scene with absolutely nothing. The casino where you get caught on a rogue mission because you're parked on a beach ( who does that ??? )

The scene where the stormtroopers are about to kill Finn and Rose and suddenly after the lightspeed scene, they are miles way ago ( but still in line ! ) with Finn piloting a ship ( I don't need a pilot anymore !!! ) and the "This is salt !! " scene

Then my friend Luke dying and me absolutely not giving a **** because I was so confused how shallow the plot was that I was somehow in shock.

I forgot the flashback scenes with Master Luke trying to act like a pure psychopath, I was asking myself if it was a joke ... a bad one.

Then I got home and I just realized that I was trolled.

I sure forgot a lot of moments where I asked myself : What is going on here ? I didn't wait 2 years or 35 years to see Master Luke again to see this ...

    Yeah, I'm salty ...

Moreover, we were a friendly community before TLJ and take a look at that thread, how rude some people were just because we didn't like it ( please read it !! ) ... And they still are so yeah, sometimes I'm a little sarcastic ...

Sorry for my approximative grammar, I'm not english native.

There literally 2 options. He is going to have his triolgy or he isn't. 50-50 shot, its plain simple. You have 50% chance being right. I don't get what you're tying to say?

NO, you'll be 100% wrong because their not going to make a part 7 and 8 then not make a 9. This is irreverent point.

Basically, you're saying you're right and everyone else that don't agree you're view is wrong? At least I provided evidence, you can't even bring evidence to the table to counter mine except speculation based on assumptions.
