Maybe Vader "suggested" that the Inquisitor should make a facial tattoo to resemble the Son.

I imagine an inquisitor would take on the markings of the Son, for whatever monastic, symbolic reason. They're definitely not the same species.

lol... I don't know why but someone gave me a "dumb".

Yeah, and the Pau'ans don't have those markings on the face. So, I guess it was some kind of homage to the Son.

Yeah, I couldn't figure that rating out, either. I thought you were pretty much on the right track. Methinks a lot of newer folk don't really get the rating system.

I tend to agree with @Paulo Henrique in that it may have been a suggestion. Possibly. We've little to go off of. But only three people that we know of (Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-Wan) ever actually saw the Son... and remember that, as Takrin described it, the paths of the Force are essentially religions. Could be that Vader was projecting some religious aspect towards it.

Or, just the designers liked his look, and mimicked it very closely for a different show.

So we're assuming that someone somewhere actually thought a rating with a Jar-Jar face is not a bad thing? :p

Let's not forget that The Inquisitor is a Pau'an and those red marks on him seem to be normal for that race. Remember this guy from Revenge of the Sith? I don't think there is any real connection between the Son and the Inquisitor.

True, but they don't have those lines so precisely done, in such a similar manner as the Son. Personally I chalk it up to somewhat lazily reusing a design for a different show, not that I disagree with it.

Also, I know I've said it before here and I'll say it again: I really wonder what those grooves feel like.

Could the lead inquisiter be a direct descendent of the Son.
