Visited the main street in Dubrovnik:
    IMG-20220811-WA0092.jpg

This is the street where the Fathiers are running with Finn and Rose, destroying everything. The doors of magazines where modified to look more futuristic in the movie.

I also found a place that I remembered seeing in pictures during the production, but I don't remember seeing in the final cut of the movie. Once I arrive at home I must watch TLJ once again to check. This is the place:
    IMG-20220811-WA0056.jpg

And I also took this picture in front of this building where I guess it takes place the scene of the sauna/massage that were cut out of the final cut:
    IMG-20220811-WA0065.jpg

I also passed by boat in front of the beach that Finn and Rose land with their ship, and later they pass with the fathier. But I didn't take pictures. I will try to go there later, but probably won't be so interesting once the beach was incredibly crowded.

I visited the beach, it is called Banje.

Very small, but you really have that feeling that you were there before...haha

Croatia is on my list, to be sure, but my list is waaaaay long so I don't know if I'll ever get there, to be honest. Also, I'm not a sunshine and beaches person, heh heh.

That said, do you know if there are any Star Wars guided tours there? I do love me some TLJ, so that alone might be a good reason to go :)

    Didn't find any.

Everything is much more concentrate in Game of Thrones, I know they have tours and in some islands they have replicas of the iron throne.

I went to some souvenirs stores to find any tshirt SW related but they only had for GOT...I forgot to put a SW shirt in my luggage!

Wouldn't mind visiting Skellig Island myself....amazing place.

Messi...you are the spitting image of my neighbour.

Have to say this....driving home from Manchester in the UK and I passed some ancient stone ruins which looked just like the huts of Acht To...:D

A capitelle is an occitan(*) term for a rough building made with stones - and only stones, no cement.
(*) Occitan is an old southern-France language not used any more.

    Here is a capitelle:

This building was a shelter for the shepherd, during the summer monthes when the herds are sent to the highlands. The shepherd may stay several weeks, several monthes alone with the herd.

I immediately thought to the french capitelles when I saw the huts on Acht-To.

They also reminded me of the Nuraghe ruins on Sardinia, stone-tower constructions buildt by the Nuraghe culture during the Bronze Age. Very impressive stuff :)
