    I can see him meeting Ahsoka in Ep 5 however I don’t think it’s going to be as straightforward as meting her just to drop of Baby Yoda I can see Din being very reluctantl to hand him.
    My hope is that Ahsoka would then help to convince Din to join Katan in her quest to regain control of Mandaklore ( Wh& we don’t actually know who is in charge at the moment)

    One of the podcasts I'm listening to as a companion to my viewing of the show pointed out something that I find intriguing: Moff Gideon clearly wasn't considered to be among the Empire's 'best', or else he would be in the Unknown Regions with the Imperial Remnant that became the First Order and that Palpatine resumed control of via proxy through Snoke.

    Yep, had those thoughts too. Means either one of two things: his Imperial Remnant is made up of deserters and disloyal men, or worthless soldiers and officers from backwater worlds. I mean, American Imperials are running the ship, hardly a vote of confidence. The Coruscanti elite have all been captured, executed, or headed for the Unknown Regions. Gideon is just a little man desperately clinging to power.

    He’s basically seen power vacuum & is taking advantage of i by carving out his own little empire.
    Alternatively he could have been order to remain behind & to try & gather together as many imperial remnants as possible in preparation for the main Imperial return ( I haven’t read the aftermath books so don’t know if that was even part of the plan)

    It’s probably the first one but making no it look like that’s all part of some grand plan to get more troops to follow him.

    I’m not convinced Moff Gideon cares about the Empire at all. It just seems like a great vehicle for him to achieve whatever shady goal he has in mind with Baby Yoda and the darksaber.

    It seems though that the officers he gathered around him like the Titus Welliver character and the Client were pretty fanatical about it...I wonder if they were picked because their devotion to the Empire blinds them to Moff Gideon’s ulterior motives.

    And I wonder what war crimes the Republic charged Moff Gideon with. (Anything to do with Mandalore?) Cara said she heard he’d been executed for them...which is a big deal because the New Republic seemed pretty lenient with the Imperial survivors if the Aftermath books are to be believed.

    Getting ahead of myself here a bit, but I can't stop thinking about how meeting Ahsoka will presumably change the course of this show. Or maybe I am totally wrong and it will be a fairly inconsequential meeting... but hopefully thats not the case.

    Not sure where else to put this so I'll ask here... (at this point in the Mando timeline) did Ahsoka know that Yoda was still around until fairly recently? Do you think she felt it when he became one with the force?

    I feel like with episodes where theres an ensemble they should add “red shirts” to the group. Its lame watching 3-4 Mandalorian & co. running unscathed down a hallway while taking out 50 Stormtroopers who can’t hit them.

    Have some extra troopers “red shirts” who actually get taken out.

    Warning note!

    ( I know that this is maybe not the right thread, but I want to reach to as many as possible, Mods please move if you find it inappropriate here )

    There are fake helmets being sold on Amazon and Aliexpress, mabye also eBay but I didn't check there. They are described as soft PVC or just PVC. Pricing is somewhere between 15 USD to 50 USD. I ordered one and it just arrived. It is made of a soft rubber like material and looks completely fake. Also the visor is not semi-transparent but completely covered. It arrives smashed like an inflatable beach ball deflated :) it's just ugly.
    There are also similar looking helmets sold which are made of hard PVC, these might be ok, but I didn't tried them yet.
    It's a kind of latex mold painted with silver paint. It looks fake from look. Completely fake.

    I agree, although it was fun to watch them falling like dominoes.
