Yes!! Finally something awesome!

 

I want to spoil sometning.. the reason the Emperor said to Yoda in ROTS, “my little green friend,” is they are friends going back to daycare:

 

The first two episodes were fantastic. I have watched them twice already and I rarely watch TV twice.

The music is phenomenal.

I could nit pick on one or two scenes that could be cut and about 5 percent too much Mando walking but great all round.

It is the best looking show Dysney has done apart from maybe Rogue One. It blows the ST out of the water in the crafts.

 

The theme of Mando is iconic and gets stuck in your head as much as the SW theme, and Imperial March.

I have to admit there was a bit of bait-and-switch in the marketing. Turned out to be an excellent thing for my tastes though.

I am not sure eveyone should be assuming the baby is 50. The chit was 50 years old. Maybe an egg came first. Maube a pregnant yodaish female

Wow! Great catch on the patch! The ability of some people on here to catch the smallest things never ceases to amaze me!

I kind of guessed that they were after babyoda for some sort of medical/experimental purpose but if the doctor is a cloned then that gives a little more focus to what they want to do with him.

The bigger question is WHY do they want to do that?!

A Patch Catch!!

 

I stand by the idea that the 50yr detail was to perhaps a ruse and that The Client had hoped Mando would die in cross fire and IG-11 would kill The Asset. Then the Trandishuans were a contingency if Mando somehow survived. What The Clienf dis not count on was Kuill (I have spoken).

 

Will baby Yoda live or die? I think he would be around 75 at the start of the Sequel Trilogy.

 

I think there are a couple of assumptions people are making: 1. that "baby yoda" is indeed 50 years old. We don't know that for sure. 2. the Imperial remnant hired both the Mandalorian AND IG-11, something which is NOT clear from just watching the episode. They both are guild members, but at no point do either of them discuss "their job." So it is highly possible that one faction hired IG-11 and another (in this case some part of the Imperial remnant) hired The Mandalorian.

 

They were most likely each hired by someone different since IG-11 said his orders were specifically to terminate, and The Client only told The Mandalorian that proof of termination was acceptable at a lower rate.

However those tracking fobs work, part of the code is the age, so someone at least believes the subject is 50 years old, and it makes a lot of sense knowing that species can live at least to 900 years old.
