It would've been really special, such a shame. I just hope we get a future panel with Rosario, Ashley & Dave, that'd be lovely.

Very bright white. Not sure how you got blue out of them

I was hoping there would be a scene near the end where they subdue all the bad guys and Din turns to Ahsoka and says "Book 'em, Tano!"

I dunno... I think the greenish color threw me off a bit. At least at the beginning.

White. But it is cold white, like the cold white LEDs so it's a bit bluish :)
If you see them too much blue, go to your screen color calibration and redo - your colors went off :p

Do you see this white? For me it is perfectly white.

Here is a scene that caught my attention. When Lang is shot, the blaster bolt is visible on his back. It's like it goes through but suddenly stops once is through.
In my humble opinion this is a flaw in CGI. Most probably they wanted to illuminate the scene and somehow ignored the physics of things.
Lang is wearing an armor which covers his chest and his back, Mando is shooting with pistol, there is no way the blast will go through both sides.

Okay, so here's my midseason grumpy hot take:

The Mandalorian needs to be more okay with having episodes that don't totally wrap up by the end.

We sorta got that in Episode two this season, and obviously we had the two-parter finale last year... and it's not like there aren't over-arching plots in the series.

    But...

It seems all too common that the series introduces a main episode plot and has it resolved by the end of the episode's runtime, and the cameos this season are showing the cracks in that formula.

I honestly didn't mind last season's episodic format, but when you replace characters like Bill Burr and Clancy Brown's bounty hunters with bigger canon hitters like Cobb Vanth, Bo Katan, Greef & Dune, and Ahsoka Freakin Tano while still treating them like RPG Questgivers... it just feels a little strange to me.

I'm confident things will tie up better in the end, but right now it feels like we're not only episodic (which again, is fine) but also going through a checklist of fan favorite faces. It's a fine line to walk, because I wouldn't want Bo or Ahsoka to become a main character in this series either, but I'm not sure we've really nailed this formula by any means.

And now that Baby Yoda being set on the stone might somehow summon a Jedi or whatever, I'm equally parts worried about how that cameo will be handled (Ezra? Luke?) as I am excited for what will undoubtedly still be an awesome scene. Same with that Thrawn name drop- I really hope he's the tease for a season three big bad rather than the monster of the week next episode.

And I hate to be so grumpy, because this episode does so much right, just like the others this season. Seeing Ahsoka Tano do flips and fight with her white lightsabers in live action was incredible (even if the actress herself is shrouded in some potentially te
rrible behavior), the obvious McQuarrie and Kurosawa inspired designs of Corvus (along with its cinematography) were some of the best in the entire series, and we finally got some forward momentum on Baby Yoda's backstory (I actually really like the name Grogu, but to paraphrase a certian Tekka, "He'll always be Baby to me").

And I'm a sucker for fan-service. Like, I usually argue in support of it. But even I feel like we're approaching dangerous territory here, and I'm not sure I could really disagree with someone who thought we're already there.

I hope we get a panel like this, even if it is online only. Maybe with vaccine and time, we can see such a panel at a real convention in Spring next year :)

    I have a few comments here :) I hope you don't mind!

I disagree here. I think they are still just building up the story. And hopefully everyone will have a play i the end chapter.

I think the things will go bad first, and then will resolve. Bo, Greef, Ahsoka stories so far are side stories to build the relationship between the characters. The main play is still to come.

I am pretty sure it's a teaser, but maybe not for the next episode.

I re-watched today that part with the fight in the small streets. Together with the opening scene, the fight in the forest, those are the most beautifully made scenes I have ever watched. From cinematography point of view of course. The lights, the effects, the level of realism, it's just outstanding. I don't know I movie so well done.

What do you mean here? I also think that too much fan service is going to pull the movie backwards, as example when in TRoS everyone become force host at the end. As we know this requires special training, which Luke, Leia and Ben didn't have. Or maybe they did, but it was not shown.

It is hard to overstate how much I loved this! Many people are probably saying this but Favreau and Filoni are saving Star Wars. The possibilities after this episode are...considerable.

Honestly by now I am OK with casting someone else as Luke. It makes no sense tiptoeing around the fact that Luke is the major Jedi in the galaxy right now. So it makes sense that Grogu might interest him. Ezra also seems plausible but I think he will be woven into the story in a different way.

It's a call back to ROTJ which had Anakin show up a ghost without being trained on screen. Come to think of it, nobody is ever shown being trained how to become a ghost.

To me, fan service is only bad when it's a shortcut to avoid creating something more appropriate, emotionally credible and stimulating by itself. Or when you realise that the significance of something's inclusion is purely for fan service.

Unfortunately I would think Spring is probably still to early :( for in person conventions.
August September however is a much more likely option.

The first to know the secret is Qui-Gon Jinn, trained by a shaman of the Wills. During the Clone Wars anime Yoda goes on a quest to find the immortality. He finds a planet from which the Force originate and there he goes through a series of quests. The episode is called Destiny.

There is the famous quote of Yoda : "No longer certain, that one ever does win a war, I am. For in fighting the battles, the bloodshed, already lost we have. Yet, open to us a path remains. That unknown to the Sith is. Through this path, victory we may yet find. Not victory in the Clone Wars, but victory for all time."

I think this quote is a forecast of the future that has to come. Yet :

"The dark side clouds everything. Impossible to see the light, the future is."

I'm going to guess The Stone or The Mountain (I'm guessing the stone is a is on a mountain. And I'm assuming we don't go to Tatooine/Navareene first)

I know that. It was all told to us long after people started appearing as force ghosts.
