I think the fight with the Magistrate would’ve been cool if it were like Indiana Jones & the sword guy.

    Ahsoka & Magistrate face off.

Magistrate performs all these martial arts flips spinning the beskar staff all over the place menacingly.

Ahsoka uses the force & breaks the boardwalk beneath the Magistrate sending her in the water.

Is it just me or does it sound like Grogu blows a raspberry when Ahsoka brings up Yoda's name?

Things we want to know after this episode:

    1. Where are Thrawn and Ezra and Sabine. Is Gideon working for Thrawn?
    2. Will their stories be told within the scope of the Mandalorian, or in a separate show?
    3. Will a Jedi answer Grogu's Force call from the temple and who will it be?
    4. How will they explain Ahsoka's absence in the OT. Does she know about Luke?

I understand the obvious difficulties of explaining the fate of characters that were not in existence as of the time of making of the OT and weaving their story seamlesly into something that was made for its own merit without regard for future content. The canon junkies among us might already be getting nervous with these discrepancies. A wise forum user once told me (don't remember their name) that Star Wars should not be taken too literally and expected to make logical sense. Rather it should be kinda read as a Bible text = taken seriously but not literally. I find myself liking this interpretation. That being said, if they manage to explain everything in a way that makes sense, I will be most impressed. Anyway, I'm just glad that I find myself theorising about SW after a long time. Even if they were going for a kind of 'Filoniverse' that would be somewhat detached from other canon I'd still be happy.

or use the force to pull her in the air and then brake her arms, would be efficient but not that much fun
I was impressed how Vader dealt with rebel troops in Rogue One :D

I was thinking that Tython would be the finale in a two or maybe even three part episode but what if that's simply the next episode and the finale is actually Moff Gideon capturing Grogu and Din looks for Bo-Katan to go after them?

A force ghost talks to Din and also decides that Grogu should stay with him and as they're about to leave, Gideon shows up and they have a fight but Din gets distracted by the dark troopers as Gideon escapes with Grogu and so he goes to Mandalore or somehow finds Bo-Katan in the next episode then the last episode they track Gideon down for a final showdown

Honestly speaking I wasn't blown away by her performance, it wasn't Adam Driver playing Kylo Ren level. Yeah, she has the looks and the fight scene was flawless, but she didn't add any interesting quirks to the character or anything. She did a fine job, and I am hoping that we'll get to see her again soon.

To be fair, Adam had the advantage of playing a new character for live action, so he could make the role of Kylo his own (and he certainly did).

Rosario took on a role with huge pressure in terms of bringing to life a fan-favourite character from the animated shows, it's a very different challenge. Both are great IMO, but for different reasons.

Take Daniel Craig for example- He made Bond his own, although he wasn't the first to play Bond.

To be fair, that was a reboot Bond whose entire point was to do something fresh and new with the classical character.

The role of 007 was already famous for changing actors quite often, before DC got the job, the whole idea was to bring his own style to the character, it didn't need to follow a strict canon and wasn't part of a bigger overarching story like Ahsoka.

Overall I think the episode was the best in the entire series. Seeing Ahsoka in live action actually sent chills down my spine. I'm probably biased though.

Chapter 13 felt like the Original Trilogy on the big screen; and, at face value.... I could not be more pleased.

Filoni: Right. But no, it's an interesting one… That's not necessarily chronological. I think the thing that people will most not understand is they want to go in a linear fashion, but as I learned as a kid, nothing in Star Wars really works in a linear fashion. You do [Episodes] Four, Five and Six and then One, Two, and Three. So in the vein of that history, when you look at the epilogue of Rebels you don't really know how much time has passed. So, it's possible that the story I'm telling in The Mandalorian actually takes place prior to that. Possible. I'm saying it's possible.
