It sucks when both of your state's teams are sucking and especially when your favorite team's good quarterback has a seasoned ending injury!

Buccaneers have an elite defense this year. Believe the hype.

That first throw was crisp! Lamar also loves doing them - mostly because our line isn't really working right now, but for some reason when he does it, it's considered gimmicky - yet when Mahomes does it, it's considered godlike.
    Dallas?

With Dak out for the season and Haskins not panning out, I honestly have no idea who will go on to win that division.

Edit: Holy balls! Baltimore just snagged Ngakoue from the Vikings for a third round pick! He was acquired from the Jaguars for a second round pick prior to the start of the season. They now reunite him with Calais Campbell - who they also got for just a fifth round pick. Eric DeCosta keeps fleecing other teams and I have no idea how he does it.

Ok so the Giants QB is also their leader in rushing yards :D:eek:.

Man you’ve got to love the NFC EAST DIVISION personally my. Money would be on the Eagles but it’s gone be a very tight division which will probably go down to the last game of the regular season.

Same. What I loved about was how necessary it was. He started to throw normally, saw the rush and realized that wasn't going to work and adjusted seamlessly to the sidearm.Truthfully this is nothing new, as you probably know / have seen.... Stafford has been doing this since he entered the league in 2009. Of course, when he was doing it, he was getting slammed for poor mechanics.

But no. There's no double standards in the NFL.
    :D

The rich get richer... I am curious if this was initiated by Yannick, or if the Ravens thought they could take advantage of a likely lost season for the Vikings. Have you heard any details if he was forcing his way out of his second team already?

I legit feel bad for that big stumble. Easy to laugh at, but man if I had to run 80 yds in front of a primetime audience, I might just fall flat on my face too.... :D

You've probably already seen this, but for those that haven't: here's Russell Wilson throwing what looks like a very bad, no good pick six in the opponent's redzone until Metcalf runs down the field like T-1000 to prevent Budda Baker from getting six.

That tackle by a METCALF is just nuts & then the Seahawks Defence also come up big to stop them on a 4th down so Arizona come away from that interception with absolutely nothing.

    More amusing than this?

Maybe I shouldn't say amusing, I didn't even really have a dog in that fight and I felt bad for the guy but it was also fascinating to watch two human beings have their souls crushed yet at the same time knowing it wasn't the end of the world and they'd still be filthy rich the next day.

Legend says that every time Blank makes his way to the sideline, the Falcons choke away the lead.

I couldn't find the thread for the 1985 NFL Season so I guess I'll post it here but I've been reading this book...

It's really good. I recommend it and I'm a Packers fan.

There better be at least 3 chapters devoted to the Super Bowl Shuffle though or I'll be very disappointed.

The Titans' special teams is responsible for gifting the Colts a 10 point lead, and arguably giving them a 17 point one. That is not just terrible, that is 2010 Chargers terrible. They had a 17 yard punt to give the Colts the ball at the Titans' 27 yard line.

The Cardinals aren't a team I have watched a lot of over the years but it seems like every time I see them it's an exciting game that goes to the end. It seems like I usually see them play Dallas and three times they've beaten them in overtime and another year on Christmas beat them by 1 in regulation. One of the OT games was the one where Garrett accidentally iced his own kicker then Arizona ended the game on a pretty wild play. I laughed so hard I probably peed a little.

Nope. It was Lamar Jackson, the current reigning MVP.

Things just keep getting worse for Baltimore.
