    .. and don't forget uncle Owen. :D

OH I didn't read through all posts carefully enough. Someone had good buddy Owen already on his list.

    Kidster then.

Or maybe a syndicate of bounty hunters.

That would be very interesting idea, very original, the Jedi Master turning to become a villain.

It would be neat to have a Nightsister. It would be the first live action Nighysister as well as the first Force User woman villian.

Because it's original, intriguing and it makes sense for the story. But yeah, very unlikely.

I'm PRAYING that disney don't miss the opportunity to have Begbe as a baddie! That would be hilarious, having the psychopath from the movie trainspotting as the main villain in this show!

Come on Disney, make it happen!

I would like to see the series go deeper into tatooine as it is one of the key planets in the Skywalker Saga. It would be great if they could have smaller/local villains like the sand people and the jawas and maybe even new species in tatooine we have never seen before

I'm not that sure any of the names listed in this pole are viable. As much as I would love to see more of Maul or Boba Fett, implementing them during Obi-Wan's period of exile would be pure fan service.

    • Vader
Vader's personal mission (following Padme's death) was to eradicate all ties to his former life as Anakin Skywalker. On top of that, purging the galaxy of any remaining Jedi and training the Inquisitors to succeed in this task was also his primary focus. If he ever really knew Obi-Wan's whereabouts, he would have certainly attempted to remove the threat posed by his former master's existence. If Vader does appear, it will be a cameo, and there will be no interactions between him and Kenobi. And there's hardly a point in introducing a villain that will never interact with the main protagonist; it would be pure fanservice.

    • Maul
As MUCH as I want this (hardcore Maul fangirl), Maul is not scheduled to rendezvouz with Kenobi until 2BBY. Again, if it happens, it'll be a fanservice cameo.

    • Boba Fett
I sincerely doubt it. Boba has at least one run-in with Kebobi in Legends material (Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi), but I don't think that will be reintroduced to canon because it creates a major plot hole. First of all, Obi-Wan has been one of Boba's arch rivals since his childhood. If they were to end up crossing paths in the Obi-Wan series, their decade-long rivalry would interfere with Kenobi's exile plot. Kenobi is supposed to be laying low on Tattooine, not getting involved in skirmishes. Furthermore, having Boba encounter Kenobi prior to episode IV creates a silly plothole: Boba is eventually employed by the Galactic Empire and fails to mention that Kenobi is alive on Tattooine...?

    • Snoke
Lmao. This one doesn't make sense. :D

    • Mace Winu
I dunno about that, I think he's pretty much DED. :D

    • Obi-Wan Kenobi Himself
I don't know. Kenobi is generally known for being level-headed, emotionally resilient, without conflict, etc.
Other possibilities involving pre-existing characters might include the Inquisitors, or Jabba. I personally think we'll see new storylines, new adversaries, and possibly a few brief but not overly significant cameos.

I see this film going in a m
I see this series going in a more spiritual direction. It may be that any villains are not physical but psychological and metaphysical.

I'm hoping for the main "villain" to be Obi-Wan's PTSD, with less of a focus on physical conflict. It would be unlike anything seen with Star Wars.

But the idea of local Tatooine villians is cool as well, kind of like what was featured in this issue of SW:

If it is Vader, I will cancel my Disney+ subscription. I mean, I obviously love seeing Vader, but Obi-Wan and Vader absolutely did not encounter each other between III and IV. IMO this is explicitly stated in ANH. When Vader says, "a presence I haven't felt since...", the only possible conclusion to that sentence would have been something like "since... [the events of ROTS]" - not something like "since... last Tuesday."

What about Qi'ra? Depending on how you look at it, this could be a great way to tie up some loose ends from Solo... or, admittedly, it could also be a disastrous attempt to combine the remnants of two canceled projects.

I agree. But a vision could work. Obi-Wan has to learn about the truth who Vader is. So, this topic has to be featured in the series.

"Crimson Dawn" as villain could work quite good.

I heard rumours that Sharad Hett would be the main villain of the series.
I think that would be pretty cool.

This may sound crazy, but I’d like the villain to be Uncle Owen. Think about it: in episode 4, Kenobi is known as a “crazy” old man, a “hermit” even to Luke. How did Kenobi go from the noble man who saved Luke’s life by letting him stay with the Lars in the first place to a “crazy” old fool? More than anything, I want to see the arguments between Kenobi and Uncle Owen over whether or not Luke should be trained.
Oh yes, the Sand People should also be in the series too as “filler” villains.

As much as I think Obi Wan series should be grounded, I really don't love the idea of it just being Kenobi with PTSD in the desert. I'm sorry, and maybe it'd work better than it sounds on paper, but that just sounds incredibly boring.

Maybe another Inquisitor that hasn't reported Kenobi, wanting to bag the old Jedi himself out of pride. But honestly... I just don't currently think the story needs to be told at all.

Maybe I'm pessimistic, and I'd be ecstatic to be proven wrong. But right now, the only thing I'm excited for is Ewan.

The main big bad needs to the Empire/Palpatine/Vader.
Besides introducing a new villain would be a waste unless Kenobi leaves Tatooine.
Having him hang around Mos Elsey acting like the undercover equalizer is pointless as Kenobi showed in EPIV he can still take care of dangerous criminals.

What kind of threat can a criminal pose to a seasoned Jedi Master anyways..

Kenobi left Mustafar thinking Anakin was dead yet knew he was Darth Vader in EP IV.

I'd love to see Kenobi/Vader duel based on Vader's "you should not have come back" line in EP IV (technically Kenobi couldnt have come back to the Death Star unless he's been there before ......and "thats no moon...".

Story wise am up to see Kenobi off to Coruscant to retrieve something from the Jedi Temple, having a run in w/ imperial forces, inquisitors.... ultimately leading to a Vader duel.

    Cheers, KH

The last meeting between Vader and Obi-Wan prior the duel in ANH definitely was on Mustafar.

Just look at the following lines:
Vader: "I sense something. A presence I have not fehlt since..."
Vader: "When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master."

So, they shouldn't meet in the Kenobi series.

He has to hide that. He can't run around and do Jedi stuff. So he has to rely on his other abilities.
