Jake Peralta would have a love-hate relationship with Close Enough's episode "Man Up," and that somehow makes me enjoy it more.

I just finished binging Castlevania Season 4 and I might start slow re-watch immediately.

After bone-deep disappointment and rage that was inflicted by Season 3, I loved the final season. It is far, FAR from perfect, it has pacing problems, maybe even more than the other seasons. There were a couple of decisions I side eyed (we'll see how I feel after re-watch), but I am generally happy that they flipped the script of the entire series. You CAN choose to do better, you CAN change yourself and your destiny even in a effed up world of Castlevania. The animation was superb, the fights amazing.

Belmont vs. Death - Superb. Isaac vs. Carmilla - Excellent.

Isaac has the best character arc in the entire show. The old humor is back and there were a couple of truly adorable moments in the midst of all the carnage.

The reunion, though, brought tears to my eyes.

In spite of my (bitter) feelings about season 3, in spite of its obvious flaws, this is the best video game adaptation that graced both small and large screens thus far. There's simply no competition.

I'm rewatching Cowboy Bebop on Hulu. Why you ask me? It's such an amazing show with a equal levelness of seriousness and very light hearted moments. The main character Spike, is somehow always brought back to his past which he inevitably has to conquer. The music and tone of the show definitely doesn't disappoint.

I could also recommend you watch Samurai Champloo, and Red Line.

I just stumbled about it and was instantly hooked. Dunno why.
It's almost all hebrew with german subtitles, but I found out that I can understand some jiddisch, which is sometimes spoken there, it's somewhat close to german.

Nothing has changed about it. I am kind of sad the was Japanese Anime has downgraded the last 15 years. It's just sexual, harem stuff, we never get any serious type of Anime anymore.

Samurai Champloo was my first anime ever. I love it still. I still think the first fight between Jin and Mugen is spectacular. But, I was and still am bitter about three of them parting ways at then end. Considering all the other anime I watched later, it could have been much, much worse, lol, but first impressions and everything... After that I learned that fanfiction exists for a reason. :D

On topic, I am re-watching (again) my favorite Chinese wuxia Word of Honor and I started Loki. It seems the secret of me watching new Marvel and Star Wars shows is to catch the first episode. If I don't, the buzz passes by and I pass on the show. It happened with The Bad Batch and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Loki punched me in a gut. I thought I was over the character. Apparently not.

Might be slightly off-topic, but I badly need to find a new series to watch, and have completely ran out of ideas :( Any help, please?...

What I like: scifi, mystery, history, western, adventure
What I don't particularly like: crime, police procedurals, horror, superheroes, most comedies

My most favourite series: Lost, Dark, For All Mankind, The Expanse, M*A*S*H, Timeless, The Mandalorian, Westworld, Raised by Wolves, Warrior, Deadwood, Person of Interest, Godless, 11.22.63, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica.

    Would appreciate any recommendations!

if you have access to the BBC then definitely Line of Duty. The Bodyguard & Bloodlines are also by the same team.
If you want something a bit lighter Yes Minister , Yes Prime Minister are absolutely classics or the absolutely brilliant I Claudius with Derek Jacobi.

sorry just seen your list. of what you don’t like so ignore all my recommendations apart from I Claudius.
