    I know it's only one day before Thanksgiving (at least from where I'm at), but I'm really curious to know what everyone here on The Cantina is thankful for this Thanksgiving.

    What I am thankful for?

    (First off, I don't really wanna get into too many personal details, other than one or two. My list of what I'm thankful for will mostly be media-wise if that's okay)
    • I'm thankful that I finally graduated from high school and now I can relax and chill out for a while.
    • I'm thankful that I finally made contact with my cousins for the first time since I was little. I don't know why I hadn't talked to them in so long, but it's been a lot of fun talking with them again, especially now that I'm older.
    • I'm thankful that in less than a month, we'll finally be seeing Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
    • I know I'll be extremely thankful if Rey is either a Skywalker or a Solo (though I'm rooting for Skywalker, personally).
    • I'm thankful that Disney is keeping Star Wars alive and successful with all these movies, TV shows, books, etc.
    • I'm thankful J.J. Abrams will be returning to write and direct Episode IX and therefore complete the trilogy that he started.
    • I'm thankful that Episode IX will reference the prequels and hopefully, we'll see the return of Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor and Frank Oz as the Force ghosts of Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda.
    • I'm thankful that Rebels brought Grand Admiral Thrawn back into canon.
    • I'm thankful that they brought Obi-Wan into Rebels, had him fight Darth Maul one last time and therefore created my personal favorite episode of the show.
    • I'm thankful that the third anthology movie in 2020 will (...hopefully...) be an Obi-Wan Kenobi film.
    • I'm thankful that Marvel has given us three awesome movies this year (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok) following Captain America: Civil War (my personal favorite film of the MCU) and proceeded by the upcoming, highly-anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.
    • I'm thankful that Hugh Jackman gave us one last movie as the Wolverine (Logan) and that it was one of the best superhero films I personally have ever seen.
    • I'm thankful that the horror and slasher genres have made a big comeback this year with the releases of Cult of Chucky, IT, Leatherface (a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Jigsaw (aka Saw VIII) and others.
    • I'm thankful that my personal favorite horror/slasher franchise, Halloween, will finally return next year in time for the 40th anniversary of the original film with a new movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis (star of the original film) and made by John Carpenter (who made the original film and therefore the entire franchise) and Blumhouse (who's known for their very successful yet low-budget horror films).
    • I'm thankful for the upcoming Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie premiering on Nickelodeon this Friday.
    • I'm thankful for NickSplat, a programming block on TeenNick that airs all the good old Nickelodeon shows back before it went downhill.

    • Surviving the 70's and 80's. :)
    • Having my health.
    • Still having at least one of my parents.
    • Successfully raising (6) children that have gone on to be successful (they're in their 20's and 30's).
    • Having wonderful friends.
    • Being comfortable in my life.
    • Not having to work so hard to be comfortable.
    • Having a wife that has not killed me in my sleep because I'm relatively "difficult" sometimes. :) :)

    As cliche as it sounds, I am very thankful that I'm still alive, in spite of the pain I've gone through the past several years. One reason I haven't been on here recently, is because I've been going to a mental hospital every day for counseling and prescription pills. I'm also thankful to God, that He loves me at all in spite of all my sins...and I'm thankful to have people to celebrate Christmas with this year.

    - I'm thankful that I live in such a wonderful house with my parents and the rest of my family.
    - I'm thankful for being able to go to University without the worry of any loans or debt.
    - I'm thankful for Clone Wars being renewed for Season 7.
    - I am thankful that my mother has been coping with her health issues and getting the help she needs.
