SPECULATION What do think TROS full trailer money shot will be?

The entire trailer was "money" from beginning to end! The Force is strong with this one!

 

I keep seeing people say there was a SD rising from the water. I thought it was breaking through ice not water, do I need to look at this more closely?

 

Nah I think both could be right. It looks like maybe it smashes a layer of ice above the water. That makes me even more curious about the big ice/crystal formation that the tie fighters are seen flying towards. The first time I saw it I thought they were flying over very still water towards an ice formation as there was a reflection, then I thought no the top and bottom are not symmetrical so maybe its floating in space or something.

 

I thought the ice formation was original too. We haven't seen something like that in a SW movie before. I'm intrigued about that for certain.

3PO's line really hit me hard. Did not see that coming. As for the best looking shots, I really liked the one with all the horses and BB8 (on top of a star destroyer!?), the one with Poe, Finn and Chewie shooting stormtroopers, and Rey and Ben in the ROTJ throne room. And of course the resistance fleet!

 

I'm wondering if that might be Kajimi.

As for the single biggest geek out image of the trailer? The assembled Rebel Fleet! There are so many easter egg starships in there that it's just amazing. The ships that I've spotted so far?
-U-Wing
-Mon Calamari MC 75 (like the Profundity in Rogue One)
-Spyrna Class Corvette (like the Lightmaker in Rogue One)
-VCX-100 (is the Ghost still around and kicking?)
-Nebulon class Frigate
-Lancer Class Pursuit ship (like Ketsu Onyo's Shadow Caster)
-Gunship (either a Botajef Shipyards SS-54 seen in Star Wars - The Clone Wars, flown by the bounty hunter Sugi. Or it could be a Wookiee Auzituck anti-slaver Gunship)

 

Wonder if Wedge is in that group.

In saying that i would rather he appeared when the reinforcement fleet rocks and they do some call signs from the bridge of some ships. They could go to one of the capital ships and have Wedge go : " This is General Antilles all ships form up blah bah"

In my opinion, the teaser had more interesting imagery ... i hoped for more new visuals.

The more I think of it this trailer went after you via emotion. Particularly the 2nd half. From the C3PO moment where he is basically talking to the audience on they are trying to emotionally grab us. The slight change to the music we all have loved to have a more final tone that yes indeed the saga is ending just grabs your heart. At least it did to me. This is something ROTS could never do since it didnt represent the end of the Saga, ROTS was the end of the beginning. This is something ROTJ could never do because at that time GL planned to continue the saga both by going back to the beginning and then continuing to the end.
