Greatest arcade game was SHINOBI, with Golden Tee a close second.

And while I might be force ninja, I don't even golf.

My most favoutie game is Osu! and this rhythm games are fun for me, this is now my favourite game because it's challenging and fun. there are 4 different games modes, you can choose different skins that you're comfortable with. I highly recommend playing this game if you're interested in rhythm games

    Okay, sooooo...

Favorite video game has to be Mount and Blade: Warband. It's just such a fun, open ended sandbox game with plenty of role-playing opportunities, strategy, politics, intrigue, enormous battles... Eventually it just becomes a warlord simulator (which is addicting as heck, too), but I always enjoy the early game when you're weak and without an army, scrapping by to survive. And that's not to mention the mods, some of which delve into Game of Thrones, Star Wars, historical periods like the American Revolution, etc... it's just the perfect template for a game. For instance, in the Star Wars mod (I've only played for the original M&B) you can start out running goods for the Hutts while recruiting Imperial stormtroopers to join your mercenary game. Then by endgame, you could be with the Rebellion, fielding an army of Jedi Knights, battle droids, and baby rancors. It's just absolute chaos, I love it.

Board games are a little tougher. I absolutely love the tactical dungeon crawler Star Wars: Imperial Assault and the trilogy in a box with Star Wars: Rebellion, both series that I have a full and painted collection. But running an Imperial Assault campaign is a pretty big commitment, and a full Rebellion game is almost a bigger one (maybe not as many total hours, but the session itself will be far longer than a single IA mission).

I'd say my favorite board game is probably Cyclades. It still gives me that Guys on a Map playstyle that I love, but games tend to be relatively fast and combat is simple. There are also a ton of special powers, most of them pretty straight forward and easy to understand. Plus, the Greek theming and the components are absolutely beautiful. Scythe is definitely up there too, and Marvel Champions is earning its spot in my top 5 the more I play it. But I could nerd out about board games all day :p

    My top three favourites are:
    1. The original Tomb Raider (1996, Eidos/Core Designs).
    2. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (2005, Rockstar North).
    3. Star Wars Episode I : The Phantom Menace (1999, LucasArts/Big Ape Productions).

I loved the original tomb raider plus the other two in the series. I don't remember which one had the dragon in it near the end that you had to kill, but they were great games.

UH i might not become to popular on this :D My favorite game ever... Is LA NOIRE - It was not a perfect game, controls where not perfect, but the story line was so amazing and well written. Characters was amazing and the game did perfect on capture the time the story was in. Such and amazing atmosphere - played it through 4 times now and still love it (I can live with the clunky controls)
Also loved that they actually tried to do alot of new things, like the faces (No it did not work that well) But sometimes you need people to try push the limits. Some of the things they did, eventually went in to GTA V

LA Noire is definitely interesting. It manages to be so unique, while having controls that feel so familiar. Really wish we'd get a proper sequel at some point.

Yeah a sequel would be so f..... awesome.... But I am almost 100% sure it will never happen, even though there is a fan base... You have a idea what time age it should be in? directly after the first game ends or?

Eh, it's been forever since I've played, so I'm not familiar enough with the continuity to say where a second game should pick up if it's a direct sequel.

But Rockstar rarely do direct sequels anyway. I could see something like San Francisco Noir or New York Noir taking on a similar 20sish period. Or maybe even better, something like Paris Noir or Shanghai Noir. Basically, just a similar gameplay hook, but in other times and places, with no concern from telling much of an overarching story from game to game, but rather focusing on strong singular entries. Could've been neat!

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic got me back into gaming. I bought an original X-Box to play KOTOR. I've played it several times, light/dark I also downloaded a version on my PC so its my favorite. So excited for the remake.
Now, I play on the PS4. I use my computer for business and art, I have a few games on my iPhone/iPad but usually play on the PS4.

    Where to start....

    Per genre
Space flight sims: Wing Commander 1 & 2 (3 and onwards was great visually but the gameplay...), and of course X-Wing and Tie Fighter. I can
    Strategy : Dune 2 - C&C series especially Red Alert - Warcraft 1 & 2
AD&D Sims : Badlur's Gate II and expansion
Adventures : Now ... good grief. Loom, Monkey island series,....Dig. Well Lucas used to be phenomenal. Larry was also good. King's quest :)
    Mechwarrior series...oh yeah
KOTOR & KOTOR 2. What can one say ?
Under a killing moon (for old timers)

    Recent times
Gofa alliances: Developed by a German company. Really good while it lasted.
War Robots was a great mech sim (for some time). Then p2w.
Conqueror's blade (copy cat of the aforementioned Mount blade) was fun. Again p2w.

But, if I really had to narrow down the answer to just one game then after 30+ years of gaming I would say this: The endgame of the game strangely enough does not reside within the game rather its the people you play the game with. So, the best game for me is the one where I had the best company of friends. Dune 1. Three dudes that don't know English play a game with a dictionary in hand trying to translate. Top for me :)

Jade Empire. I know it's not perfect, but I absolutely love that game... I wish someone would make a similar new RPG game with East Asian aesthetic and mythology.

KOTOR I & II. As many said already, both are so well done, immersive games with brilliant story and characters.

Surviving Mars. I'm mostly into city/colony building/resource management games AND a massive space nerd, so it's a perfect game for me.

Aw yeah, I used to be a big fan of the (now unfortunately named) Pandemic Studios, mainly for their work on Battlefront and LOTR Conquest. Never played Saboteur, but it looked really interesting.

I don’t know about best game, but I had an absolute blast playing through the story of Jedi: Fallen Order when that first came out. I got it on release day and had so much fun playing for five hours straight. I devoured through the story in a matter of weeks and managed to stay away from spoilers for once, which is nice. It’s also the highest completion I’ve ever gotten on a game: 100%!

Part of my love for the game also stems from me attending the panel at Star Wars Celebration. That was such a good time that I wish I could go back to.
