When do you plan on subscribing to the online streaming service Disney+?

  1. Immediately upon launch, there's too much great content to avoid. Oh, and because.. STAR WARS.

    Hello Cantina!

Disney+ and The Mandalorian releases tomorrow for some but not all, and we know it sucks. While we can't do anything to change that, we're going to try something here in The Cantina if anyone is interested...

We are testing a feature that will allow certain sections of the Cantina to be hidden from a specific user's view. So, how does this help? If you would like to continue to visit The Cantina, but also remain spoiler-free from The Mandalorian until you are able to watch it, we can hide The Mandalorian section from your view. Not exactly perfect but it's the best we can do at the moment.

Please respond to me here, tag myself or another moderator / staff member, or otherwise get our attention if you'd like The Mandalorian forum to be hidden from your Cantina experience.

This is not permanent and can eventually be reversed so that you can join in on the full fun with the rest of us whenever you choose.

    Thank you!

Never. I have no interest in their content, as its aimed for a very different target demographic.
Plus (+ ha!) , its not even legally available in the UK or Europe even if I wanted it.

I'll subscribe as soon as it's launched in the UK (especially for the movies in 4k HDR) but it really bugs me that we have to wait until 31st March to get Disney+ and now I'm getting Mandalorian spoilers plastered all over social media. It also means that many of us are excluded from the discussions in the forums, which is one of my favourite aspects of fandom.

I could resort to other means of watching it but I'm kind of against that in principle but then again maybe if enough of people did it would encourage content producers to make sure everything is made available at the same time around the globe.

I got a quick flash of the spoiler. If I'd not seen it, I'd not have bothered because I'd lumped all the Star Wars stuff with Rey and company flushing down the tubes. One time I'm happy I caught the spoiler
