    This painful moment when you watch a tv show, fell in love with it and then suddenly the show got canceled (for whatever reason).
    Its even worse if the last episode ends on a cliffhanger. (TSCC !! :((((()

    So if you had the power which shows would you bring back?

    i'm still waiting for them to show repeats of Northern Exposure on the telly. i don't think they've repeated it even once, for twenty years

    Brimstone. John Glover as the devil was amazing. I am also on the Firefly band wagon. Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. People of Earth just got canceled so I would undo that madness.

    Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles. OMG that show was so good! I love the Terminator Franchise not as much as Star Wars but a close second.

    I second @Anubis78 and vote for Brimstone.

    It's the first show I thought of when I saw the thread title. It got cut short way too early, although in truth I'd say it's too late now to revive it.

    As an aside, I thought Reaper was a similar show which started a few years later, although it was 'lighter' and played the premise more for laughs. Ray Wise was also cool as the Devil.

    Oh, what a great question! Would love to see more of the best shows (for me)

    First of all DEADWOOD. Just finished my revisitation a couple of days ago. We are lucky to get a movie to conclude it.

    LUCK. A masterpiece. First episode is a piece of art from Michael Mann. What a season! What a bunch of amazing characters! Pure gold.

    FIREFLY. What a gem. Absolutely loved it. It was pure happines to find a brilliant galactic western very well-done, so charismatic, with such incredible actors and characters, including the ship of course. Also lucky to get Serenity.

    VINYL. Really loved the treatment of the music and discographies in such a great history music moment.



    @Maximus said BLACKADDER. Oh man, would love to see more of it. One of my all time favourites.

    @NinjaRen mentioned MY NAME IS EARL. Absolutely agree, my friend.

    TRON: UPRISING. A visionary animated series with incredible visuals.

    TWIN PEAKS. The third one was a gigantic, surreal, cosmic and brilliant experience.


    Special mentions: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, DOWNTON ABBEY, DAY BREAK, THE OFFICE, FRIENDS.

    i had Firefly in my list (it should be in everybody's list dagnamit!)..

    do you think the Firefly "fanbase" would just be pleased if it did come back, or do you think a portion of them would rip it to shreds because it isn't how they wanted it?
    i'm trying to think of an example where a loved franchise has come back after a long period as a comparison for you.. hmmm.. :D

    Well, the biggest thing that the "nit-pickies" would complain about (possibly) was that Wash was killed...BUT that was in Serenity, that took place later in the timeline, SO if they just picked up where they left off with the series, they could bring him back. :)
