Indeed GL gave us in the Coruscant Chase what every fan wanted to see in the city planet; a high speed chase. It still looks amazing, the CG holds up well in The Prequels. :)

Darth Plagueis the Wise. Easily this scene. Everything about it is perfect. The dialog, the manipulation, the music, the music!!!!!, the whole movie pivots from this scene. Without it, Anakin doesn't do what he does. Without that scene he may have gone to the Jedi to save Padme.

I agree. It is masterpiece scene. Palpatine and Anakin having this meeting of souls.

Palpatine: The Sith and the Jedi are almost the same in everyway, including their quest for greater power.

Anakin: The Sith rely on passion for their strength, they think only inwards, about themselves.

    Palpatine: And the Jedi don’t?

Anakin: The Jedi are selfless, they care only about others.

My favorite scene in the PT is when Obi-Wan takes Luke to Tatooine at the end of Revenge of the Sith. I always just loved the music and emotions from it, and it really makes you think about Obi-Wan, and how he battles the past.

I feel like they'll never match the first 10 minutes of ROTS as well.

    • Palpatine talking to Anakin about Plaguies. The music, the atmosphere, the shift in Anakin's demeanor, etc. All good stuff.
    • Anakin telling Padme that he hates sand :p

Mine would have to be Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting on mustafar! I love everything about the prequel trilogy though so it's hard to pick a favorite.

Yes, that was a great fight. It played against your expectations and was intense, as two people who were like brother to one another fought. Kind of like when the 501st fought the 212st.
