Episode 7 was a copy of A New Hope, Rogue One was mediocre, and Episode 8 didn't feel like Star Wars at all. I wish it was a dream. Can we start over with the sequel trilogy?

From what I have read of Lucas' story for the sequel I much prefer that over what we currently have. It may be a case of the grass is greener but I firmly believe that Lucas' version would have been much better than the fan service of 7 and the utter mess of 8. My dream would have been for Lucas to outline the story, Michael Arndt to flesh out the script, and Dave Filoni directing and contributing story wise. These three serving as the pillars for the sequel trilogy could have made it something very memorable. Of course I would have wanted all of this to happen without selling to Disney and have Lucas stay independent away from the machinations of Hollywood. That is my dream.

I disagree. After the prequels I lost my faith in Lucas. This ST its much better than most of Lucas did in his entire carreer as a director.
