    As I have stated in another thread that was about Rey being more into the Force than Luke was in the beggining of his journey, I think that the same applies for Leia as well. Leia is far more less into the whole Force and Jedi thing than Luke and Rey, so she is not a prominent Force user because she doesn't want to be one. She uses her abilities only to sense and connect with someone and maybe as a quick reaction to a situation, but I doubt she could pose the mental clarity needed to move the rocks...

    Those events were only in books that was sanctioned fan fiction. You can Take the new stuff that way as well even if it's official canon.
