SPECULATION A new twist on known plot theories

I keep saying TFA will start with a big event(WMD, sneak attack, 9/11/2001 type event) then JUMP ahead 15/20 years. Everything will be in a mess and factions will be fighting for control of the galaxy.
Leia's leadership and motivations will be questioned. Han will be burned out or retired(bitter and depressed).
Luke, correctly will either be in hiding or secretly training a new cadre of Jedi, sensing a new threat to the force.
I doubt one object or lightsaber will be the main focus of the young leads. Like R2 in ANH, BB8 or Rey might have plans or information critical to the Republic. It would be cool and a clever twist if they hide in the smuggler bins of the Falcon, .
Id add that I doubt all the pieces of the villian puzzle will be played out. Like TESB, the main bad guy(I say Darth Plaguis) will not be revealed but brief glances or holograms might be in TFA.

PS: A big boom or shock might be that Darth Plaguis is in fact Anakin's real father! He had a plot all along to secretly gain control over the entire galaxy....

 

I'd have loved it if they'd simply given Finn the Kyle Katarn treatment. He defects from the Empire, joins the Rebels, and later learns he's got the Force and decides to join Luke's students at a brand new Jedi Temple...
