SPOILER A Real Episode IX Leak (Pics)

Looks like they may be very well continuing the yin/yang theme with Rey and Kylo - one dressed in white, the other in black.

"Darkness rises and light to meet it." I dig it.

 

I have not been able to say anything until now because I have been crying all day...

I usually love robots, aliens and Rebel outfits. This leak doesn't disappoint me.

Maybe the N creepy ghost guy is a knight of Ren without a mask... or with a mask under the mask I must say.

Would prefer something different for Rey but its interesting she is in white... like Gandalf... Maybe she returns from a very very very dark place...

 

Very nice. Finally something. Rey reminds my of ANH Luke. I like it.

 

I think all of these look pretty darn cool! Kylo’s reassembled mask is great.

What about Broom Boy though?!?! Will he have the same sweeper or maybe a push broom in IX? (kidding...)

 

I hope this is real, they all look great. I always wanted to see Rey in white, it suits her character very well. I guess Ep 9 is going back to the contrasts that made TFA so beautiful, which is just what I hoped for. And it's good to know that Kylo got so mad after TLJ that he got a new mask, it's just what you'd expect from the character.

Edit: Wait, he fixed the mask? No way. They should have just said he got a new one, that pile of scrap metal couldn't be "repaired". What's next, "repairing" it after being thrown into a volcano?

 

I LOVE Rey's outfit. It's nice and virginal. This is much more suited for her than a gown like Holdo's. It fits her active personality well. Poe's adventure get-up is super sexy, with the gloves and the bandolier. All I can say is chapeau! to Michael Kaplan.
The aliens look kind of retro, don't they? Like very ANH cantina or something... I find those horse like aliens with colourful gowns (P) very interesting. They look very much like those carton figures they spread around the desert in Jordan, don't they?

For me kylo wearing a reconstructed helmet instead of a new one shows his personality completely. He is just about keeping it all together...

 

I am going to premptively strike before some one states it and say that no Kylo’s rebuilt mask is not symbolism that JJ is picking up the pieces from TLJ and fixing it. I’m sure someone is thinking that and it is not the case.

 

These images remind me of the excitement of looking at the back of figure packaging and trying to guess what was under the blacked-out figures..

 

I know what you mean.

For me it symbolises Kylo’s frame of mind, no meta meaning.

 

Apparently he's got some serious welding skills too. That mask was pulverized.

If you look at the angle of this picture of his mask and the fact that the full body picture of Kylo doesn't show the red glowing, I wonder if this shot is of a scene with him reforging the mask and the glow is from the welding process. I could see a scene where Rey is repairing the saber and Kylo is repairing the mask inter cutting with each other.

 

I love what I see, especially Rey's Padme-esque outfit.

 

Ah yes. This is where the real fun conspiracy theory stuff begins. I'm looking now for that older leak to see what else he said, since it's pretty much confirmed legit now.

Is anybody else getting freaked out the longer they look at N? That looks some creepy villainous alien there. Of course, he might just be random extra #57 in the back of a cantina scene.

 

I'm certain she will have at least two outfits in the movie. Rey has consistently had three outfits in the last two films. Since it's chronologically been one year since TLJ in the timeline, I imagine she will start the film in this new outfit and end the movie in a totally brand new unseen outfit.



Also a big shoutout to Rey wearing Finn/Poe's jacket. I seem to always forget this one...

 

"Let old things die... Except my mask, it's too dope. Put it back together." I'm not a fan of the idea of having masked Kylo again. But it would still make more sense if he had a completely new one. Having the old one repaired, though? It's such an odd choice on JJ's part IMO. And I don't even think it looks that good - the red is quite over-the-top.

Gotta say, though, that the cape+hood look seems great. Simple yet very dark.

 

If he is going to be seen with the Knights of Ren, all of whom I believe are masked, then it makes sense for him to wear a mask.

 

I am sure we will get PLENTY of screen time with Kylo with the mask off. Can't wait to see his new look behind the mask! Hoping for some SUPREME facial hair.




We could seriously get that as a nice little nod to more bearded Sith lords of the past...
