"Production on a third as yet unannounced TV series set in the Star Wars galaxy has begun in the U.K according to publicly available company records. We expect this new third series will air on Disney+ following on from the release of The Mandalorian and the Cassian Andor TV series. Since 2012 we have broken the news of every production name behind every Star Wars movie shot in the UK, and continue that tonight. Tonight we are revealing the name of the latest Star Wars TV series that will shoot in the UK, as well as the name for the next Star Wars movie which we understand to be the first in the Rian Johnson trilogy."

It seems strange that we don't know about this one, yet it has begun filming already? Mando and Cassain we all knew, hell Cassian hasn't even begun shooting it yet.

I saw this yet they didn’t reveal the name of the series ( even though they said they would in the article). :(So what do we reckon ? Judging by fact MSW said in their latest podcast they’ve built tatooine sets at Pinewood ie Lars homestead ( and seemed to indicate a Kenobi series is on the cards )am banking on it being an official announcement from Lucasfilm of a Kenobi series but they want to announce it at celebration .
Everything is going to happen at celebration it seems :p- episode IX trailer and maybe even title ( though keeping fingers crossed we get the title before then at least ). I reckon the internet will crash when celebration happens as everyone ( not going in person )will be fighting to get on the live feeds .:D(duel)

Yeah, I'm willing to bet that it's for Kenobi.

I should listen to the latest MSW podcast. If the report is true and the Lars homestead has been built at Pinewood, there is a very good chance they’re working on Kenobi.
However, let me remind everyone that the Mandalorian show apparently has Jawas and Tatooine featured as well.

But the Mandaloriam is filming in California & I don’t think any of the named directors have been spotted / mentioned being in the U.K so it’s probably not for the Mandalorian.

Seems odd to me that a series that would release after Mandalorian and Cassian Andor would start filming now. Cassian Andor series wont start filming until fall when Diego Luna is available. Doesnt that imply that this new series would come between the other 2?

I certainly wouldn't put it past, though having another series air so soon and it not getting an announcement is certainly curious. However, if this the case, I'd say we may get news on it anytime between now and Star Wars Celebration.

Assuming this report is accurate (and I don't, BTW) it certainly seems possible that the Cassian Andor series might not be the second series to air on Disney+ just because it was the second series to be officially announced.

Hypothetically, if both the Cassian and Obi-Wan shows had been green lit, Disney might have decided to announce the Cassian show during the investors call, but save the Obi-Wan announcement for Celebration since they knew it would be a bigger deal for the fans, and telling the investors about Cassian was enough to get across the idea that the streaming service would feature shows that tied directly into the films.

But as much as I would love to believe that an Obi-Wan series is not only happening, but has actually begun production, it seems pretty unlikely. Not only is Ewan McGregor currently filming Bird of Prey, but it's hard to imagine Disney could have kept an Obi-Wan series under wraps until the show was ready to begin filming.

MSW has been spot-on with their rumors and I trust this one implicitly... however, it’s frustrating because there’s no announcement or sign of anything being filmed, animated or otherwise. The one that’s got me anxious is the rumored Dr Aphra live action show.
