    Speculate Responsible to quote my favorite my favorite Podcast Force Center I personally Love The Last Jedi and Solo my advice going into Episode IX here is my advice from a fan since the 1997 Special Editon Releases

    1) Be prepared for Anything Unexpected

    2) Moderate Expectations of what is presented

    3) Don't expect Anything to Go your way

    4) Your Fan Theory or Theories may Mean nothing at the end day DEAL WITH IT

    5) Try to Enjoy the Build Up to the release instead of Forcing it

    My expectations/hopes for IX: I just want fun. I just want a solid and simple story which makes a lot of fun to watch. It's JJ, so I know he will deliver me some fun times with this movie.

    This. JJ and Disney know how to build hype and I'm looking foward to it.

    Great advice ! I think part of reason TLJ was so divisive was because of the expectations fans had about the way it was going to play out ie they had convinced themselves of their own theories . Luke even says at one point in the film it’s not gonna go the way you think like they knew and were aware of what has happening in the fandom ( because they do know ) . Yes it’s fun to speculate but we aren’t writing the story . Unfortunately I am one of those who are guilty of running away with theories lol but am now curbing those expectations, trying to remain calm and hoping I go into episode IX following your 5 point plan so that I enjoy the ride. :)

    I no longer have any expectations for a Sequel Trilogy movie. Not after being disappointed twice. Perhaps I'll end up enjoying "EPISODE IX". But for the entire trilogy as a whole, I see it as nothing more than a failure, artistic wise.
