    Ok guys this one is MAYBE a hard one.First....the intention of this thread is to know (with the poll) how many friends here in the forum like the light or the dark of the FORCE after watching SWTFA.This is my census in the forum.In this thread EVERYONE will respect everybody opinion.PLEASE....This is NOT for trolling either.There are 3 choices in the poll.Just pick the one that apply your case.You can explain what side you like if you wish.I will start....I LOVE the light side of the FORCE because i believe that GOOD is the way to go...:).

    I liked both. I liked how Rey (our light side character) actually went darkside twice. In the interrogation scene she used her fear and anger to defend herself against Kylo Ren and enter his mind. In the forest, she again used her fear and anger to defeat Kylo Ren. (visible in the movie, and explicitely described in the book).

    Kylo Ren (our darkside character) on the other hand constantly restrains himself through compassion. When he interrogates Rey and when he fights Rey in the forest, He does not really want to hurt her. He is defeated twice because he shows compassion. That's why snoke wants to complete his training and "remind him of the Dark Side".

    This is a tough question. Generally, I'd choose light, but I do think that the Jedi's missed the boat when they discount the importance of emotions -- they're part and parcel of the human condition. I guess I'm just not keen on the monastic lifestyle. Can I choose "grey"?

    FWIW, I walked away thinking both Rey and Kylo Ren were pretty badass, if raw.

    Hi there Jadore4....I understand your point.If you mix white paint with black paint you get grey.The problem depend how much paint you use to make the grey.It can be a dark grey or a light grey.You can ONLY choose one color...white or black...Sorry...;).

    Lol. Ok. I'll have to say light side because I just couldn't work with people like the Emperor or Hux. I'd likely get myself force lightning-ed... or b**ch-slapped by the latter. :p

    Really depends on which question you are actually asking.

    I picked the light side because its good. My first reading of the question being that of which side do I like lets see freedom or tyranny. I will go with freedom. I not really a choice.

    If you are asking who is most awesome or kewlest still like the light side the best (because I tend to go with good guys). Though I definitely see the awesomeness of characters and what they evoke.

    Sincerely hoping no one is picking the Darkside as a philophy cause its ya know evil.

    Hi there Pastor.My friend.....Most of the people here in the forum like SW for 3 mayor reasons(i think they are).Some LOVE the characters that are in the light side of the FORCE and the story.Some love the characters that are in the dark side of the FORCE and the story.Some friends here LOVE EVERYTHING about SW.I'm making my own census and i hope that most of the friend in the forum love the LIGHT side of the FORCE.Let see who will win my friend...;).

    While I'm a huge fan of watching dark side powers on screen, in real life I absolutely believe in karma. I try to live my life these days embracing "The Light" and trying to be the most positive, good person that I can.

    The dark side is just so seductive and fun to watch haha!

    kylo ren's character had lots of things about him i enjoyed watching, same with rey.
    i think we just saw more of kylo using the force than rey in TFA. And doing cool new things like stopping blaster shots and force freezing. Also cutting people in half who try to appeal to the fact they new him when he was young. lol
    just what we want in a new central bad guy. a bad arse.
