So, early today I was thinking about the up-coming encounter between Ashoka and Vader in rebels (lets accept, it 's happening). And as I was walking my mind through the encounter, a first incognite raised in the horizon. Does Asoka know about Anakin's future, I mean, does she know Anakin is in fact Vader?
I think She knows it and here goes why:
Remember CW arc-story, where Obi-Wan, Anakin and Ashoka end up in a sort of planet habited by a guy representing the dark side, his sister representing the light side and their father maintaining the balance in the force? Ashoka has a vision of herself as a grown-up there, who advises her young-self of the seeds of the dark side that her master has planted on her. Therefore, Ashoka Major knows at list that Anakin has turned to the dark side, and if she knows that, I’m sure she also knows he is Vader.

How she knows about it is a completely different question. Could have Obi-Wan told her that? If that is the case, I expect them to show us this at some point of the show, which would mean Obi-Wan would have an apperance on rebels. So far so good, but I want to focus on the seeds of the dark side planted by Anakin on Ashoka Ashoka Major was talking about:

Could it be that one of the major plots of rebels was focusing in those struggles, with Ashoka being tempted to fall to the dark side? Could it be that Ashoka finally fell to the dark side, convinced by Vader? Could it be she became an inquisitor, an agent of Vader, and survived the rebellion after the fall of the empire? If that is the case, could she appear as villain in episodes 7, 8 or 9?
I hope not, but it would be a mind-blowing plot to follow.

She will def feel it in the force that vader was once anakin. They will def battle it out but there are two options to this.
Option 1:Ahsoka will die before the new hope by Darth Vader.
option 2: She will survive all the events from rebels to the return of the jedi, she will probably end meeting luke skywalker after those events and she ends up building the new order with him. I am a strong believer that Lupita Nyong'o will play her in episode VII.

I still think the best story telling option is to have her confront Vader, he defeats her but can't finish her, therefore the Emperor finishes her as Vader watches.

Canonically it fits in perfectly to the end of ROTJ. Vader was too weak to save Ahsoka, but couldn't stand by and watch Palps deliver the same fate to his son.

I don't think she knows that Vader is Anakin yet. That's too delicious for us to not see on screen. However it plays out, I can't wait.

    Also, welcome to the forums!

I hope she doesn't know... The character could deal with the what ifs when she finds out... Would he have changed if she had been there.... Would she have been able to stop the Empire? Could she have seen the plot and assisted in weeding it out before to powerful

I think Ashoka's future will be decided when she finally confronts Vader, we of course know Vader survives until 4aby at the Battle of Endor I wonder what will happen when her future is decided.

IF she confronts Vader I think she dies. And Vader doesn't hold back. He's gone all the way right now and ONLY Luke could save him.

Yeah, Vader seemed like a bit of a rage filled madman in ANH. Then he discovers Luke, and we have cold, pensive Vader for the rest of the trilogy. Maybe killing Ahsoka is the last act that severs any hope from Vader's mind, and turns him into the completely merciless tyrant we are introduced to in ANH. Until his discovery of Luke.
    Gotta say I like that.

I almost see it as Vader is already mercilessness now. He has hunted down Jedi and done plenty of other killing for the Emperor, Ashoka would just be one more notch in belt of people he has killed that he used to know. Luke however represents something he thought was lost. Padme for him was about love and family and Jedi preventing him from having that and from saving that(his mom). That's why he joined the Emperor, top save her and his family. Luke is an opportunity to get that back and when the Emperor threatens that Vader realizes he was wrong the entire time.

I wonder during a duel will Vader remember his past with Ashoka.

What if Ahsoka does survive her duel against Darth Vader? Maybe she meets Luke skywalker after the events of the ROTJ? I feel like Luke will somehow rebuild the order to a curtain extent so he would need other wise force users who saw the flaws of the old Jedi order.

I believe that Ahsoka and Vader will fight and should be at the series finally. Ahsoka will lose this fight and I think it will rank up there with Anakin and Obi-Wan's fight. I'm not sure what will come of Ezra or Kanan but IMO when it comes to ep.4 there will be no other Jedi fighting with the rebels because they were all killed who helped the rebellion and that is why Leia sends a message with R2-D2 for Obi-Wan and says he is their only hope. She believes he is the only Jedi she knows is alive and of course he comes along with the future/savior of the rebellion and Jedi's.

I think Luke is still baby around this time so Ashoka will have to hold her own.

Luke & Leia are the same age as Ezra. It's only 5 years before the movie Star Wars

I think the biggest duel we'll see in Rebels is Kanan vs Vader. Ashoka vs Darth Vader will happen, but I think it'll be a sacrifice by Ahsoka, followed by a stunning realization through the Force Vader is her former master, Anakin Skywalker. Why I think Kanan will be important is because of a toy figure and a very old drawing by McQuarrie that looks similar to the toy. Ahsoka vs Vader will be amazing, but I feel it'll be abrupt and shocking.

I think Ashoka will allow herself to be captured to use the moment to try to get through to Vader to remind him of who he once was, I can't wait for Kanan vs Mara Jade that's the duel I want to see.
