    Here is my suggestion: What if they did a true holographic message from some character in the movie (i.e. Snoke) just like how certain music artists have done holograms of Tupac or Michael Jackson? That would kick ass and almost everybody in attendance would say it was well worth it...

    It's totally up to them when they show trailers and we're not entitled to anything really before the film is released but it does beg the question why did they bother even taking over hall H if they wern't going to really show or tell us anything new? If I paid to go to SDCC I'd be a little cheesed off to be honest.

    I'm sure the event itself was fantastic but If I was one of those guys who paid to trek all the way over to the states I would have expected a bit more to be honest. Just another teaser that revealed nothing about the story or characters would have been more than enough to tide us over. I'm a little bit disapointed to wake up this morning to nothing new except a very brief behind the scenes video but I expected a bit more. Us fans are already hanging on their every whim, but I'm not sure they have the general public in fever pitch like they should be right now, I'm sure plenty of people will want to see the film but if I was in charge i'd be making these last 6 months a nightmare for people by teasing them and reminding them about TFA constantly!

    Hmm, I don't think so. He said that they will show something and they did. He was right. Many sites were reporting that no footage will be shown.

    At first I thought they weren't going to release a trailer because Abrams wanted to preserve secrecy, but after watching him talk yesterday I now think they're just not totally comfortable with how the film is coming together and want to work on that more first...
