The story was pretty straightforward so I'll just bullet point a few details i liked

*Djarik! When will get get an officially licenses rule set? I love space chess

    * the fifth brother has a strange gait and a second set of eyelids that blink left/right

    * the joke of "always look where you are going" the humor is never literally laugh out loud, but I like when it isn't cringe worthy

I have no negatives, but do wonder how the seventh sister sees out of her helmet. Did it have eye holes I couldn't see (watched it at the gym on a tiny low rez screen.)

What I'm really liking this season is the competition between Rex and Kanan about who gets to be Ezra's father figure/trainer. It really creates a good deal of realism and relatability. Who among us has always wanted to be the favorite aunt or uncle, for instance. Or maybe, who had parents who were divorced but used you to rail against the ex? I'm really excited to see what comes of this story line, and it's cool that Rex now seems to be a permanent part of the crew.

Did anyone else notice when Zeb was stuck in the ventilation shaft and he said he didn't want to die like that he mentioned he was the last of his kind? I thought the Lasan were just endangered. I didn't realize Zeb was a Black Rhino :(

I liked the little Probe Droid on Seventh Sister's shoulder. Did you notice it reached out with its claws emulating its master, trying to hold the Phantom back with the Force like 7th Sister & 5th brother?

I like Sabines new outfit. Her bare arms always bothered me in the first season considering she's supposed to be wearing armor. Wish they would release a figure in the new outfit.

As soon as I saw those tiny probe droids my first reaction was that they were like the "Scrappy Doo" version of the normal probe droids. Those little things were a pretty cool idea.

Things I liked: the horror vibe including classic scare jump when little droid scares Chopper (whose afraid of dark, hilarious), Rex and Kanan butting heads over Ezra, Seventh Sister's voice and her trying to tempt Ezra, Zeb's moment to shine, the ending with Hera comforting Kanan. The show is finding its stride, I am looking forward to more. :)

So far this is my favorite Rebels episode of season 2. Very possibly among my top 5 favorites all together. The horror elements and the introduction of the new Inquisitors was excellent. They are doing an excellent job of making the dark side scary and playing with those horror elements.

How does Kanan not know there were more inquisitors? Doesn't he refer to the Paun last season as "an inquisitor"?

The eyelids were a great touch.
This was a great episode, and I liked how even when the rebels win, it didn't feel like one. It does make me wonder where Zeb's character arc is going this season. I always thought Rex would be more of a mentor to him than to Ezra - until the interviews and footage proved me wrong. But Rex could be both. He could teach Zeb how to be a better soldier while mentoring Ezra on how to be a leader (while Kanan teaches him how to be a Jedi).
Is it just me or did some of the dialogue between the Seventh Sister and Ezra seem almost...flirty? Not counting the whole "cute" remark.

It isn't just you, but I don't think it was genuine on her part. I think she was trying to unbalance the teen boy. How well do men think when blood flow it diverted away from the brain?

It sort of parallels Lando hitting on Sabine. Some saw it as creepy, but to me, and Hera, Lando was just trying to disrupt the crew.

Overall I liked it but is in my humble view not the best episode.I found it cool to finally see the two Inquisitors.
Sarah Gellar does a very good voice over for the seventh sister.Looking forward for more episodes

I really enjoyed it overall, much better in tone than the previous two.

It may be because I was tired when I watched it, but the Inquisitors' mannerisms kinda bugged me a bit. Not sure why. They both kept turing lightsabers on and off a whole lot, when they really didn't need to, which was odd.

We know from the movies that the Jedi's greatest weakness is being unable to sense the Dark Side, do we not? That could explain Kanan missing it entirely. It could also easily fall on the fact that Kanan isn't/wasn't a particularly good Jedi.

    ---

All in all, I enjoyed the episode. The Seventh Sister was an interesting character, although for the one representing the "brains" of the outfit, she (and the Fifth Brother) really fell for Zeb's plan quite easily. Still - the atmosphere, lighting and scenery in the episodes was used to great effect. It felt like I was watching someone play "Alien: Isolation" at times. The scene were the Seventh Sister was equal parts interrogating and attempting to throw Ezra off balance with her casual flirtations was amusing. Ezra's bewildered "huh?" at being flirted with betrayed a boy who isn't quite used to having women express an interest in him (even if the Sister's was disingenuous in nature).

It was good to see Ezra leap into combat without his usual safety net of Kanan; he acquitted himself reasonably, but obviously showed he still has room to improve in the fighting department. I like that the episode gave Sabine and Zeb some things to do, although we're four episodes (five including Siege of Lothal) in, and Hera continues to be criminally underused.

The only thing that leapt out at me in this episode was Zeb's rousing little speech about how he was going to rescue the kids. Was this supposed to be a revelation? Were we supposed to expect him to bolt and leave Ezra and Sabine to die? It just felt weirdly out of place.

Lastly, I like that the Kanan/Rex conflict is continuing. Too often - especially in short shows - there is almost a race to tidy up conflicts so everyone can get on the same page. There's an ocean's worth of water under the bridge that Kanan and Rex need to build, so I'm glad that they are still getting up each others' respective noses. Although for two people who could each be great teachers in their own right, they are both oblivious to the negative impact their little tiff is having on Ezra.

It was an overall interesting episode, one we discover that the universe is littered with Clone facilities of the Empire such as this station, why would they leave something so large just left to sit and not be used? Also, why go to it for a box of medical supplies, are they that rare and one box or was that all the Zed could carry?

I noticed when those robots took out Chopper it looked into or inside of his dome? Did it do something to Chopper or leave something?

As for the inquisitors, interesting but they were competing and they referenced the killing of the Grand Master Inquisitor being killed by Kannan. These two inquisitors don't seem very competent in their abilities. I found the dialogue with the inquisitor and Erza being interesting about his abilities and how strong he is at such a young age and about the Jedi, they know about Ashoka. It is my IMO that Ashoka could essentially take care of both just find, she might have left the Order early but she was a seasoned Commander under Anakin and his padawan, she is very much or could be considered a Master by all means.

Other than that, it seems a little rushed and disjointed at times but overall not bad and interesting how Erza was left to basically fend for himself, i did find it odd that Kanna might not of known about more, but we have found as someone stated above that the Jedi has a hard time feeling the Dark Side. Which IMO makes them rather weak, but i guess the dark side is very different.

I think it was completely genuine on her part. I think she was turned on by it. In a disturbing way like the people participating in the Hostel movies and the chick in the sauna getting all hot and bothered by the poloroids of murder victims in The Toxic Avenger.

The Dark Side IS seductive and EVIL after all. She was anticipating having fun with him and envisioning how she would be rewarded by the Sith Lords.

I did like the fact that the Inquisitors are in a bit of competition over who gets the prize.

As for the Sister, I liked the attitude she had. Evil, but light-hearted and manipulative in a way, not stereotypical. I also rather enjoyed that odd "As pretty as you are..." followed by Ezra's "...what?" response. It kind of throws everyone off for a second, nice tactic.

I'm also curious as to why her voice sounds the way it does. Modulated, doubled. It struck me that she could have cybernetic implants. For that matter I still hold the belief that it's Barriss, with the obsession with finding Ahsoka only strengthening that belief. I could be off, her face, eyes, voice are all different in various ways... but then again, like I said any number of surgeries could've contributed to that, as well as things like them "Dark Side eyes"...

I was surprised he didn't know either. If you go back to the end of The Siege of Lothal episode when Ezra, Kanan and Ahsoka are sitting in the cockpit, Ahsoka says "they'll all be coming now" after talking about Vader and the Inquisitor. To me that was a sign there are more. I suppose he should've raised his hand and asked, " WTF do u mean, ALL?! "

Maybe he's just optimistically in denial about it?

I jest, but remember he was the one that never wished to get involved with the larger rebellion, for fear of getting in over his head. Maybe he's really in denial about it so he doesn't freak out right there. He was pretty quiet when he realized there were more.

That is an aggravating issue that really hasn't been explained. Although the Inquisitors aren't Sith and they aren't nearly as powerful as Vader or the Emperor they may not be able to be sensed like someone that gives off a strong force presence. They don't' handle the subject consistently, Both Ezra and Kanan had no problem sensing Vader
    --- Double Post Merged, Oct 30, 2015, Original Post Date: Oct 30, 2015 ---
That might change but I don't think Kanan has ever cross a Inquisitor before while in hiding so he wouldn't know how many there are. It also looks like while the EU had tons of Inquisitors it looks like they will only have a few in canon universe.

I've read all the EU books except the Yuuzog Vong (sp ) series and don't remember seeing anything about the Inquisitors, but yes, there will be a few in Rebels.
