    This thread seems wholly unnecessary, needless to say a few hours late; the user this is quite clearly in reference to has moved past this, and I suggest we all do too.

    As passionate Star Wars fans who clearly have extremely deep affection for this franchise, we're all guilty of acting in a brash and compulsive manner at one point or another, and it seems unfair to single out a single user for such treatment.

    Let's try not to forget that behind each pixel you respond to is another human being; we should maintain our best efforts to remain mindful of our words and actions to one another.

    As a little old green guy once said:

    "Wars not make one great".

    Perhaps I should be more clear: This was certainly not an effort to single out one particular individual, because to be as frank as possible, I found the entire 6+ page back and forth to be sophomoric and infuriating really... by everyone involved. That thread is my favorite of all, but it is very frustrating to have to meander through multiple pages of completely off topic banter that is really driven toward tearing people down more than anything. In fact, I actually felt a bit sorry for the person you are referring to because I could see his point (even though I don't agree with it per se), but instead he was being absolutely roasted and ridiculed for it, as you have correctly pointed out.

    Perhaps my attempt at humor here is a bit misplaced... I do tend to try to diffuse arguments with humor. But make no mistake it was aimed not at any one individual, but all that actively engaged in the misguided, off topic conversation in the first place.

    So, anyone want to continue the debate? :D

    I can see the Skywalker name continuing if

    - Kylo starts using the name Skywalker in addition to Solo ; or
    - Rey (or Finn) gets adopted by Luke and takes up the surname (family is more than blood theme).

    I think that we should petition to ask for RJ to include a blood compatibility check between Ani and Kylo just to check if their MC levels match? Show it on screen in 8.... or you know to just make sure Kylo's blood is not green or something :eek::confused:
