Anakin Skywalker showing up as a force ghost to Kylo Ren?

I think it would completely undermine Return of the Jedi.

 

Hope not, I'd personally rather not see any force ghosts in this series, always found it a little silly.

 

As long as it is not Hayden Christensen, I can accept any other Force ghost.

I don't think it's likely, but I wouldn't mind it. Christensen can actually act, when he has better dialogue and direction (for example, I liked his performance in Life as a House). I love Lucas for what he did, but several people have described his direction as consisting of, "Faster. More intense," and little else ... and he's always had a problem with writing dialogue. In the proper hands, an appearance of Anakin's spirit (especially to Kylo) could be a powerful and moving scene.

But I doubt that it will ever happen.

 

Luke trying to reason with Kylo then having a force ghost Anakin backing him up and tries to warn Kylo about the dangers of being seduced by the dark side and Snoke could be quite powerful.

Yeah It can definitely be a possibility, especially after the rumours of him being in 8 and the anakin ghost art. But would I put money on it happening... no haha.

 

I was reading The Art of Star Wars TFA and they made a sketch of Anakin's ghost and talked about how they were toying with the idea of having Anakin's Force ghost appear. I tweeted this to Campea and Harloff of Jedi Council, but they didn't respond.

Am kinda disappointed w/ all the HC hate which is resulting in a big NO for Anakin to return in the ST.
IMO, GL is responsible for the poor acting, dialogue etc.

Anakin Skywalker is probably one of the greatest characters in science fiction/fantasy and not using him would be a huge fail on the part of Lucasfilm.

 

Kylo indicates his grandfather has already talked to him. I expect to see Kylo have another force vision of Darth Vader but then it turns out It's Snoke causing him to have the vision to manipulate him. Han was right Snoke is using Ben for his power.

 

I would really like to see Anakin force ghost in next two ST movies.

I like Hayden C.

 

I am ok with Force Ghost Voice but the apparition of dead Jedi is a bit over the top.

Maybe it is his Grandfather pulling him to the light.

 

Scene: Kylo Ren stares into the empty burnt and twisted mask of the Sith lord, Darth Vader. He sighs and sulks again and starts to weep at his lack of skills.

"Bennnnnnnnnnn...." a mysterious voice whispers.

Kylo looks around to see the vision of his younger looking grandfather Anakin Skywalker.

Wide-eyed, Ben cheers up immediately and gazes awestruck at the Force Ghost in his presence. "Cool." he nods.

"Yeah, cool. Hey, we even have matching facial scars.." the Annie Ghost replies, pointing to the one on his face.

"Cool. Yeah. Heh hehehehehehhehehe." Ben laughs.

"Heh. Hehe heheh heheheh" they both chuckle together, in a Beavis and Butthead manner.

 

Hayden Christensen's acting ability was not the problem. Quite the opposite. He can act. The problem was the horrendous dialogue he was required to vomit out, and also having to green-screen it for virtually all of the Clones and Sith movies.

 

Only if Sebastian Shaw (original Anakin) is playing Blue Ghost Anakin. Which is unlikely, because he's dead.
