Anakin: TCW vs PT

Agree. In my opinion, the main focus of the series is precisely, the Clone Wars. We can see how focused is Anakin and how having Ahsoka helps him to deliver his missions but, we have to understand AOTC and ROTS are before and after the war. I guess his struggle and tendency towards the dark side would take over himself when the task at hand - the war in this case - is over.

 

We need Battlefront vd. OT .

I may have meant to say that we need a Battlefront PT VS OT sorry I've had a long 48 hours...however long it's been since I was at LAX...I've lost track -_-

 

I enjoy Anakin of TCW very much. His relationships with Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Padme, and even Palpatine, are explained much better than in the prequels. For instance, we have multiple opportunities to see Palpatine hinting at or taking advantage of both Anakin and Padme, as seen e.g. in the Banking Clan/Clovis arc(s), as Palpatine deploys exactly him to protect the senator. It also provides that much more depth to "You were my brother, Anakin, I loved you", showing how the two Jedi are, at the same time, a Master and a Padawan, brothers, and in a way, a father and a son.

As for the transition to RotS, I do see it towards the end of the series. Anakin's shattered by Ahsoka leaving the order, already exhausted by all the war efforts, his relationship with Padme is strained at best and we do see his jealousy coming to the surface. At the beginning of the RotS novelization, there is a quote I find explains it all very well:

We see that change taking place.

 

Anakin is definitely a better Jedi in the show. He shows real potential as a General and as a Jedi. Although he is very talented, Obi-Wan Kenobi is still my favorite.

 

Anakin is a lot different in the show than he is in the OT. For one thing, he actually shows maturity & proves to be a real military leader. I like him a lot better in the show than in the movies haha. I like how the show brought out more of character rather than just being portrayed as a whiny brat in the OT.

However, I still disagree with him having an apprentice due to the fact he ever reached the rank of Master

 

I'm on the fence about his portrayal. Sometimes confused by the polarities, but mostly satisfied.
I'm mostly disapointed in the the appearance and voice.
What is that!?? The model should have been designed from Hayden Christiansen. Seems like they modeled it around what the voice actor looks like lol. (Wheres the Logic????)

As far as the voice. I'm huge into sound.
Hate it. Should have sounded more like the PS2 Episode 3 game version of Anakin.

 

Anakin from the TCW is for sure better than in AOTC but besides not the best acting and the "I hate sand" line he isn't that bad. I mean he shows lots of emotion as well. Especially when Schmi dies.
