And now for something completely random:{

So here is a new thread for the madness that can be this wonderful place. The goal of this thread is to be completely random. Got new shoes and want to share. Here is the place. Got a weird story about the person behind at the store. Post it. Ghost story. Here. My mind goes like a spider monkey on 12 shot espresso while downing pixie sticks!! Anyone who has interacted with me can tell you. So post a way, SW related non-SW.
Now the one caveat is don't be slamming on anyone else. If you don't like it report it. We all are who we are and should be accept for it. Embrace your weird.

So here is the first question? If you could live in a cartoon/anime what cartoon/anime would it be? I am going with Bleach. Kenpachi is my favorite. To battle him would be amazing. I would lose I know this. It would give me a goal. A challenge!

 

I love folklore, urban legends and anything to do with those things that send a shiver up your spine. You know that old house you used to walk by on the way to school, you would get close and walk just a little bit faster. That time late night looking out the window when see the outline of someone standing there...maybe. Sitting down after a long day in a quite house just closing your eyes the stress washing away to hear a footstep or a whisper. Sitting by the campfire telling tales with friends of Bloody Mary. So today I would love to hear yours. What scares you? What urban legend just intrigues you?

I love Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod Crane and his night on a bridge running like the wind from a headless foe. The Horseman in his search for what was taken.
As a child I watched the Disney version of this. It frighten me. As an adult I have read the original tale, researched the place where it may have taken place.
No fear. I would love to sit on that bridge to wait for the sounds of an approaching horse.

 

I have only been here a couple months and would really like to think I have made some great friends. Some know that some of my posts go weird little side rants but I would like to believe that they still accept me for me. This will be as close as I will ever get to social media.

I have seen a trend lately of people who I really enjoy jumping out. This saddens me. I totally understand why they done this, I have been on that edge a couple times. Just never log back in walk away and enjoy SW my way. The soapbox fans who have taken to petty things or even threats against some of the actors is insane. IT IS A MOVIE!!!! GROW UP!!! I am not saying you cant dislike a movie in the series or have to have the exact same opinion as me. Because hell that would be boring. I love debating good things about one scene or who is the stronger Jedi. This is what all brought us here.

Where my heart breaks is the fact people will get together to crowd fund a damn movie remake but cant help real problems. We have issues. People the is a enough hate out there already. Why not try finding something good in life. Being a happy person is a lot of work. Yeah I know I don't know your problems but they ain't that bad if the biggest thing is a movie you don't like. Cause holy crap you and me are not the center of the world and the inane reason or justification we come up with isn't going to change it. I have heard it all sexism, racism, Kylo and Rei should be together(if you want I can do a great list of reasons why not) and other things. I can battle all of these with logic and facts and get hammered back with petty name calling. At this point I walk away. You know why I walk because it is a MOVIE and is not worth the small amount of pain that it seem to bring sometimes. Watching us do what we are doing say a lot to me. WE HAVE FAILED. If we can not tell the difference between reality and fiction, we have failed. I want every ounce of passion from every one here. I want to talk about this. I want to make references that somebody finally gets. I know my wants could mean little to you, I am a big boy and can take it.

So instead of throwing out that lame response next time, stop..... think bout what you are trying to get across, show a little compassion or maybe even take the higher ground and walk a way. You could always just say hey that's really not my thing but I am glad it is yours. Try just once. You can do it here or in everyday life. Its crazy it works. Letting people have other opinions then yours works!! This where I could bring religion, politics
or other hot button issue. There are times and places for that here is not that place. I will never judge you, ever!!! So if love or have one movie I am here to talk about it with you. We are all fans. We are responsible for our actions. So please understand before you do/say something it makes us look bad as a whole. This is the one group I know of that doesn't judge by race, gender, nationality or sexual orientation. Whole crap if Aliens landed tomorrow us and the trekkies would be first in line to accept them to our planet. We can be the start of bringing this fandom back to what it should be. A group of like minded people who like space ninjas and murder bears.

I am here post a reply. If you are offended than report this. I have a love for SW that will not change. I say this with all the love and respect we all deserve. Bring back the fandom.

 

I watched Children of the Corn about the same age. The adult all thought I would be great to let us all watch a scary movie then let crawl into bed and scare the crap out of us. PARENTS ARE EVIL.

You got a ton of folklore. Those scary story you have told around campfires or that old woman that pass down the road and late at night you can see her walking.

That's is why Robot Jocks will be one of all time favorite movies. Nothing beats large robots except GODZILLA!!!
