Any elements from the EU that actually became canon?

I'm curious if there are any elements, whether characters, planets, ships, plots, that were established in the expanded universe, but that worked their way into official canon? The only two I can think of, and I'm not even totally certain if they actually qualify, are the Z-95 Headhunter and Dathomir.

Coruscant was from a Timothy Zahn book.
The Jedi Aayla Secura was in a comic first as was the Jedi Quinlan Vos.

Apparently Darth Revan is a canonical figure. Could explain the mask that Driver's character allegedly wears.

I'm not sure if he is canon. Check Wookieepedia and see if has a canon tab at the top.

Darth bane is canon now, after appearing in TCW. Black Sun crime syndicate. The Falleen species (Prince Xizor in shadows of the Empire). I sure there are a bunch more, but can't think of any more right now.

Technically from a certain point of view he was. He was a miniature figure in a model set watching the pod race.

I am surprised! Quinlan Vos appears in TPM as a background character.
Did the comic take this character from the movie and named it Quinlan Vos? Or was this character already present in UE before TPM was shot and George made a cameo?

Grand Admiral Thrawn comes from Zahn's, even if the Canon character is slightly different from "Heir to the Empire".

did-you-know: Coruscant in french language, is a rarely used adjective that means bright, sparkling ; Wiki tells me this adjective also exists in english.

The name, not the planet. The proposed name for the "Imperial planet" was Had Abbadon, and first appeared in ROTJ drafts.
Two partially constructed Death Stars orbited the planet, and the climatic battle was to take place above and on the planet. The Rebel fleet was to attack the space stations, and Vader, Luke, and The Emperor were to meet in the Imperial throne room on the planet.

When writing The Phantom Menace Lucas decided to ultilise the planet and come with a new name. His friends and workers however convinced him to keep the name Coruscant.

There are many other things as of now. Off the top of my head, there are the Imperial ship classes, the 7 lightsaber forms and their variants, Nar Shadda and many other planets.

There's a whole lot other ones that I can't remember.

Couple of things in Rebels I've seen.

The Quasar Fire-class cruiser/carrier. Originally depicted in the novel, The Truce at Bakura. Up until recently a vessel of this class, Phoenix Home, was the flagship of Phoenix Squadron.

Shantipole, once a research station on an asteroid in the Roche system depicted in the video game Star Wars: X-Wing; in the new canon has become a full planet upon which the prototype of the B-Wing class of starfighter was developed.
