Are the Stormtroopers helmets meant to be the same as the movies?

Forgive me for asking a daft question, but are Pyre and the stormtroopers actually meant to be the same helmets that we see in The Force Awakens? I can't stand how they look in this show (yet love the rest of the animation style), and I know the obvious answer is that it's just a stylised animation style for the show, like the triangular facial hair in Clone Wars or the excessively droopy-mouthed stormtroopers in Rebels, however the fact that Phasma looks like she does in the movies, this suggests the helmets are indeed actually different... I'm confused?

Perhaps they wanted Phasma's character to stand out even more?

I looked it up- the helmets also look different in the actual movie:

Ah that's a fair point, however although I was somewhat wrong in saying she's got the exact same helmet as them, it's the mouth shape that I have issue with, which are very similar in location and shaping on both Phasma and the stromtroopers, especially in respect of the plate size and shaping of the area over the nose. They made the effort to make Phasma movie-accurate for the show, yet exaggerated the stormtroopers' gurn and moved it higher up the face to the point of parody for no discernible reason.

I just don't really understand why they made them so silly looking and unthreatening when they made the effort for Phasma to be so accurate? They would have looked so much better had they kept the movie-shaping of the nose and mouth areas and Phasma proves it was deliberate and not just a side-effect of the animation style.

Might be a stylistic choice (of sorts) to be consistent with SW: Rebels.

I think it’s just an inconsistency in the art style of the show. They simply didn’t stylize Phasma enough to match the look of her cohorts and it’s not meant to be an in-universe difference.

And while merchandise generally isn’t a good determiner of what’s canon or not, the Galaxy’s Edge Exclusive Black Series Commander Pyre figure does have a normal First Order Stormtrooper helmet.

You are right in that Star Wars Clone Wars, Rebels and Resistance are heavily stylised in terms of their aesthetic and this may be the cause of the difference. In my opinion, original Clone Wars is better aesthetically anyway
