We're living in an era where we get our news from the internet far more often than the actual news or even the TV for that matter. Ever since the Force Awakens we have been getting theories and asking many questions about what will happen next, where is it all leading to. As a fan of Star Wars and a fan of movies I love discussing and speculating, but I also want to watch my films spoiler free, I like to be surprised, on the edge of my seat. Speculating and theorising is not really spoilers because they're only assumptions based on hints found in sources not something we looked up on a random website that leaked crucial and definite details about the movies.

But now I have to ask what you all think, not about leaks and Spoilers, but theories and speculations. Are we getting too many of them?. We never had this amount of theories before since the internet was non existant when the Original trilogy was out so whatever thoughts we had, we only spoke of it to friends or kept quiet. For the prequels, we pretty much knew the ending already, Anakin becomes Darth Vader, duh.

Since the Force Awakens has left a lot unanswered questions and even some answers unclear, I can see why we have so many people are making their own conclusions on what will happen next. Hypothetically if someone did make a theory right now about what will happen in Episode 8, you watch episode 8 and it turns out it's exactly how the theory was. How would you feel about that?, would you be happy?, angry? would it even make sense? I myself don't look up theories but I'm curious on how you all feel about theories and the amount we are seeing today.

Everyone here has seen the published movies. The Cantina was made for speculating. If speculating wasn't in here, the Cantina wouldn't be here. The upcoming movies are the future which is fun to speculate. :]

No, sit back and have fun.
People always speculated. Interwebs just made it more fun and more complex.
This always happened but now instead of two or three friends hanging out talking it's thousands on the internet.
