    It's a very good movie, although it's one of those films where you have to "get" the movie's gimmick (and by extension, the ending) in order to fully enjoy the movie. I won't say what it is because it's definitely not something you should look up before you see the film, but some of my family were a bit confused once the credits started to roll.

    I'm glad to see that the Blade Runner sequel is in really good hands.

    Yea I enjoyed it. I appreciated being able to experience Bradford Young's cinematography in a "sci-fi" film as a taste of what he will bring to the Han Solo film. Plus it was cool to see the director and composer from Blade Runner 2049 work together. The music was really different which is what it will need to be at the very least for Blade Runner.

    Just watched Sicarios right now. This is a masterpiece of suspense! I am so glad that they picked Villeneuve for Blade Runner. I just need to check Incendies, the only movie that I havent seen it yet.
    Villeneuve is now, together with Jonathan Glazer, probably one of the greatest directors in activity on these days.

    It was a good movie though a bit slow in places. The film score was unique to say the least. All the acting was pretty good and it had an interesting turn at the end but it seemed sort of abrupt. The cinematography was awesome and makes me look forward to the Bladerunner movie if I understand correctly that same team that did Arrival is working with Scott on Bladerunner 2049.

    I was disappointed. I thought the suprise ending was way yyyyyyeayea over hyped. However, I'm glad he's directing blade runner. He has the ambiance as a director for that type of scI fi.

    I liked it too. But Arrival is my least favorite of Villeneuve. The tension was excelente untill some point, but then, when you get used to the aliens the tension drops and the feeling is not the same. Sicario has a level of tension and horror from the first untill the last minute for example.

    I won't lie. I was disappointed. But not in a way that leads me to believe he' s not great for blade runner.
