We're mere days away from Favreau and Filoni releasing their 'Making of the Boba Fett Series' show on Disney+ like they've done with each season of The Mandalorian. It's scheduled to be released on Star Wars Day, this May the Fourth.

I have to say I'm fascinated by their amazing soundstage, The Volume, and look forward to getting a 'behind the scenes' look at each TBoBFepisode and its director. It will be fun seeing Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni talk about their incredible (Mando Season 2.5) episodes. I'll be particularly interested to learning more about the new and improved deep fake the show did with Mark Hamill in Episode 6.

Anyhoo... just thought I'd remind everybody what's coming up (as if any of you fanatics here need reminding) :)

Just finished the hour-long Gallery episode of The Book of Boba Fett. It was great!!! (Thumb's up!)

    A few quickie takes:
    • Practical Effects. I was struck (yet again) at how the practical effects in SW really make a difference in the way the audience responds to the characters. We got a lot of behind-the-scenes peeks at the Bantha, the Mayor, Grogu's stunts, and Cad Bane.
    • Finnec Shand. I loved the Ming-Na-Win parts where she geeks out being a huge SW fan.
    • Luke Deep Fake. I was looking forward to this behind-the-scenes story and wasn't disappointed. It was cool to learn that Mark Hamill was on the set for Luke's episode and beyond acting the scenes, served as a Luke-consultant for Dave Filoni.
    • Dave Filoni. I could listen to Dave talk about SW all day. :)
One of the little things I picked up on is that near the end of the episode, Jon Favreau said, "in Season 1 of TBoBF..." which implies there will be a second one. :)

That's a kick-butt electric ukulele with a hidden amp that Grogu's got there! This rocks! :D

This Thor Skywalker video is essentially a review of the behind-the-scenes making of TBoBF
    *BUT*
It includes quite a bit of discussion-worthy content. Enjoy.
