I always get quite emotional upon Yoda’s passing, especially his last words to Luke.

This is a good discussion thread. I think the best death in all of SW has to be obi-wans death. While it might not have been to coolest duel; between old ben and vader, keep in mind that, at the time, technology was limited. So the mechanics where they used tech for the lightsabers and laser bolts were new. So anyway, this death meant a lot in terms of the plot. Obi wan knew he was old and he knew that there wasn’t much he could do to help Luke develop if he were limited physically. He became one with the non-living force. He could be with Luke wherever and whenever.

if you were to ask me this question again but added which death was the coolest or had the best aesthetic I would say some of the order 66 deaths. For example, Kiadi Mundi’s death. The face he made when the clone troops turned on him and began lining up their shots. And when he fought back rather well. Plus add the music to the backround. Then add the battle which is taking place. Then boom. That death may be insignificant if you ask me, but it looked cool and their aint no questioning that, yall.

Yes I do as well. Its sad because, after watching him in the CW and the prequels, it is hard to see him die. But, life doesn’t last forever. And he was old and for some reason, his death was rather emotional because of this. So, yeah I agree.

But he's not dead, he's just gone home.

Fives got me emotional dude. He was “crazy” and grabbed the gun before being shot. So sad to see him go because he did know the truth about the war and the plot to destroy the republic and all the jedi.

Also, Padmé’s death and funeral was sad. Her final words saying that there was good left in Anakin. That was emotional. Her funeral was super sad as well. The music in the background made it so.

Maul’s death was good too. His last words were emotional. “Is he the chosen one?”
