    - Chirrut's prayers (captivating and contagious ;) )
    - Galen's hologram (very emotional)
    - X-Wings on Eadu (i just love shots during night with rain)
    - K-2SO lines (especially on Jedah and during team gearing up to battle)
    - Chirrut's emotional support for others (including a delicate touch)
    - whole space battle sequence (i had goose-flesh druing "blue leader standing by, gold leader standing by..." and "blue squadron - on me")
    - Chirrut's "are you serious? I'm blind" (i almost cried during this moment ;) )
    - Cassian killing his informer by shooting him in the back
    - emotional deaths of our heroes
    - Vader's rampage on Rebel ship
    - Scarif = <3

Hammerhead Corvette. The new answer to everything.

"Sir! They can't email us the Death Star Plans! They've exceeded their maximum file size, and there's some kind of powerful firewall still active!"

"#*$&, get my a squadron of Y-wings and a Hammerhead Corvette."

    The Sith have returned?

    "Hammerhead Corvette."

    Yoda's dead?

    "Hammerhead Corvette."

Jabba has Leia prisoner and is forcing her to wear a bikini?

    "Hammerhead Corvette."

Need to ram the bride of a Super Star Destroyer?

    "Hammerhea--A-WING!!!"

On a more serious note, I absolutely loved about 90% of this film (including the Hammerhead Corvette). I cannot wait to view it again.

Was it something Krennic said to Tarkin about a sharpened spear or something along those lines?

    1. "Red/Gold Leader standing by" brought a tear to my eye
    2. T-65s over Eadu in the rain- absolutely brilliant
    3. Tarkin/Krennic, great to see the imperial power dynamic at play

Honestly, like the last hour of the film. But if I really had to pick, I'd say Vader going full on Terror mode aboard the Nebulon B.

I loved the movie. I can't wait to see it again, but that Vader scene at the end is the stuff of legend. It's a super short scene but it's just horrifying.

Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor's final scene. :(

Some small part of me hoped they would escape on a transport or something, but this was for the best.

The most thought provoking part is Cassian shooting the informant in the back. We like to think of the Rebels as righteous, moral, freedom fighters. And while it's true that compared to the empire they're saints, some ugly things had to be done to achieve the ultimate good they were fighting for. Like Cassian points out later in the film.

Yeah, what was that part all about, anyway? Was Cassian just worried the dude would blow his cover?

Well the guy pointed out that he couldn't climb out because of his injured arm, so I guess he was just too big of a liability to Cassian.

    Agree totally with you.

The stardust scene was quite powerful for me for personal reasons. I was literally crying at that point.

But the rest of the movie was awesome! I was at the edge of my seat almost clapping when the X-wings and the rest of the Rebel fleet appeared onscreen - in my head I was sort of replaying "Rebel Fleet/End Title" from TESB soundtrack lol.

I consider this a great way to start his arc and how he progresses from being this Rebel totally committed to the cause and even falling into blurred lines towards achieving the goals of the Rebellion. We see he kills this guy who was terribly freaked out and physically unable to make the escape, so in order not to compromise the Rebellion he kills him. Did he do it based on previous orders? (Something like "you get the message and kill the mole?") or did he decide playing it by ear to prevent this fella to blow his cover? We don't know. However, we see Jyn's influence start working on him when he hesitates to fire the shot to kill her dad. And when he decides to disobey orders from the Rebel Alliance Council and go ahead with the Rogue One mission.

I totally recommend reading "Star Wars Annual # 2" comic issue to learn more about the commitment to the Rebellion cause and how sometimes it relies on questionable methods.

Is it me or K-2SO is some sort of droid Sheldon Cooper? LOL.

One thing that struck out to me when Jyn was holding her dying father in her arms is that just like there was an underlying theme in TFA about fathers failing their sons that really hit home with me there was an underlying message of fathers failing their daughters in RO that hit men when I turned to look at my girlfriend who let's just say has her reasons for feeling disappointed in father figures.

Anyway in regards to specific scenes K-2 was great in almost every scene he was in.

When Tarkin turned around and began talking my heart literally caught in my throat, it was incredible to watch.

In a similar vein Red Leader and Gold Leader were also great to see

Filming Darth Vader carving through the Rebels like a horror movie was a fantastic film making decision and it captured the menace we all sensed from Vader and portrayed it in a way we had only dreamed of.

This is what I find best.

The fact that Anakin's or Vader's penchant for being flashy ends up costing the empire it's chance to stop the Death Star plans from leaking out.

Those weak rebel troopers didn't stand a chance, if Vader just cuts them down quickly he ends up catching him in time, but he's a show off, or at least Anakin was.

I never thought I'd live to see Vader's castle on the big screen. Great moment

Freudian slip? Also, Star destroyers get married?
