Vader looking out into space as if pausing and seeing the next 3 movies as the Tantive went to Warp.

Agreed about Yen/Chirrut's line "Are you serious? I'm blind!" When they bag his head on Jeddah. Biggest laugh at my showing.

Vader's final scene slashing rebels is epic. It just further establishes how bad ass he is,giving more significance to his lore in the OT.

K2SO must be revived. I would love if he somehow was salvaged or rescued and repaired before Scariff was obliterated. Maybe he feigns allegiance to his rescuing Stormtroopers, yet many years down the road sabotages the Imperials and rejoins the Rebels.

Seems like such a great character to revive somehow.

The Rebel fleet warping in was gnar. Loved it.

I think I speak for all of us when I say the Vader scene at he end was simply everything we were hoping for. Can't get it out of my head.

Another favorite part of this film was it indeed had a Skywalker involved, albeit not until the end.

Yeah the Vader rampage was memorable, it goes to show the ones in ANH weren't the first.

Saw it yesterday (3rd time!) "Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, Director" that is the exact quote...Mmmm...I think I should make me a shirt with that...

Maybe it isn't a highlight but we were shown why there was a job opening for the position of Red 5.

My fiancé does not know Tarkin's face so she did not know that it was a CGI rendering. Were the pilots from ANH just reused footage and audio?

According to what I've read (and Gareth's SW Celebration interview) Gareth Edwards had full access to the Lucasfilm archives including footage/dialogue we've never seen/heard before. So apparently is a combination of elements (New, "new old" and old footage/dialogue)

Yes, thank you, I had not read the Easter Egg thread yet where the Red 5 and the repourposed squadron leaders footage topics were addressed.

The R1 shuttle looked like a turtle in action and I would really like to see a Jakk's Pacific big-fig of Saw Gerrera for fantastic design of his uniform. I did not expect to be so impressed with that character, does anyone know the what was the flag he was using as a cape?

Jyn's death scene is perfectly done. The cinematography, the music, everything. It makes me tear up.

K-2SO's beautiful quips, the Hammerhead's "Damn the torpedoes- full speed ahead" maneuver, and Vader's unstoppable rampage stand out enormously for me.

...(but) more subtly, I appreciated the "rainy sniper position" scene...the hanger scenes of Yavn-4, and the select crew of toughies stepping up to take the rebellion into their own hands.

Yes, this scene completely changed the opinion of Cassian I had formulated from the trailers and TV spots.

Cassian flipping out on Jyn is one of the most well-acted scenes in all of Star Wars and really captured the uniqueness of this movie from the saga films.

All of the death scenes were great IMO and so well done. Each character got their arc and ended with finality. I didn't feel that "yeah but what about..." with any of them. It was all just so...final. I loved it.

Having finished the book "Catalyst" hours before first seeing the movie, I really enjoyed the opening scene. If you haven't read that book, give it a read!!

I too was surprised when Cassian straight-up murdered that guy in the beginning. He's quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

The entire battle of Scarif though... is awesome. A+ Star Wars action.
